Some random white guy I haven't heard of takes Kershaw deep for the Cards.

Was he missing a face?

"Slightest criticism"? Really? So that's the only thing that's been posted in here, or in the MLB season threads, or anything else over the last couple of years?

Also, "defense mode"? I freely admit that there are plenty of morons going on about "god's team", "the Cardinal Way", and all of that crap. I get why that's annoying. Hell, I hate many of those people.

But the piling on has gotten waaaaaaay past old. Seriously. We get it: you hate the Cardinals. You think all Cardinals fans are inbred, redneck jerks. Shut the :censored: up about it already. If STLF (sorry, man; I'm throwing you under the bus here) comes back and starts yapping about the Cardinal Way, feel free to go for it. But otherwise? It's a tired act. (...which means CS and admiral will make sure to turn it up, while they explode if you should mention another certain team that may or may not play in the NL.)

Just look at it this way. Those who sprinkle so much salt are usually fans of teams like the Dodgers and the Cubs.

The CUBS. They root for the Chicago Cubs.

That should make you feel better immediately.

Because anyone that roots for a losing franchise should be shot and killed.

I don't care who you root for, I just think it's hilarious how downright salty Cubs fans get over the Cardinals success. And the whole "your fans are SO insufferable!" thing is easily the ONLY foot they have to stand on. It's actually kinda sad.

It's ok though, I totally get it. If I voluntarily rooted for a team that hadn't won anything since the lightbulb was invented of probably be pretty jealous too.

Of course I'm jealous. Obviously I am. It's not solely jealousy, but I'll just let the now-prevalent Cardinals hatred do my talking for me. It's clearly not just Cubs fans.

I'm not really sure who you're arguing for or against, really, but it's nice to know Mockba and the other poor long-suffering baseball championship cities aren't alone in their pain.

Sports are a lot of fun until other people get involved, and then it all sucks ass because everyone is basically awful.

Dude the lightbulb had been around for a couple decades when the Cubs won it all!

Phillies, Bears, and new NYFC fan.

Message to the Cardinals... if you don't want people to think that you're bush league headhunters, learn to pitch inside without beaning someone. It's not a hard concept.

Molina shoves umpire "The Cardinal Way," remains in game.

I saw that. Typically that's an automatic ejection and suspension.

Ok. I was trying to ignore the discussion but since the game is getting out of hand...

Cardinals organization has a skewed sense of things a lot times. There's definitely a sense of arrogance, and sense of entitlement in some regard. Most of the Cardinals fans I've met are passionate, fair, and know the game very well and are polite to other fans. I've met a few Cardinals fans that who embody that selfishness, we're better than you're fans because we Cardinals fans and those fans are the ones that I don't want anything to do with.

I've never liked the "Cardinal Way is the right way" motto. To me it's like Apple's "It's easier to get into Stanford/Harvard than it is to get a job at The Apple Store" motto.

I think I need to find new teams to root for. All my teams are considered insufferable by other. It doesn't bother me that people don't like my teams, it bothers me that when my teams win, and I celebrate it's considered "rubbing it in". It feels like I'm not allowed to celebrate because either the victory is marred by something on or off the field/ice.

Just to clarify: I have no issue with fans celebrating and rubbing it in. The issue arises when fans who rub it in, tell other fans they are not allowed to rub it in for (insert reason).

Anyway, I think I should back to my MLB Postseason wallpaper. Hope to release it later tonight.
