TheRicSlick
Let's hope the ALCS plays out like it did in 1985. Royals vs. Cubs would be a dream WS.
DEAD!
Shame the Cardinals could not advance, we could have had the same 1985 NLCS matchup. I saw, I came, I left.

RyanMcD29
And as I'm sure we're all aware by now, the remaining 5 teams in the playoffs wear royal blue. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. rainmaker17
I still don't get all of the Texas hate. "Houston vs. Texas would have been a disaster." "Baseball gods took care of the Rangers." What dirty tactics did they use? Who is the villain on the team? Honestly the Blue Jays have more then a few showboats, but I guess that's okay. I think Bautista looked like a prick with that move, but then again I can be a homer too.And what is with the whole getting back at someone who has nothing to do with the current situation? The Jays should have been mad at MLB, mad at the umps, but the Rangers? For what…trying to win the game? It's the same thing as Tom Brady vowing to "take it out" on everyone on the schedule once he got over on Deflategate. He's pissed at Goodell and the league, but he REALLY hates the next opponent on the schedule, because, well, Deflategate. Misguided anger that makes no sense to me.Really tough loss. The WS against STL was obviously worse…but still. Hats off to Toronto. Not sure who to pull for at this point.

I think Bautista looked like a prick with that move, but then again I can be a homer too.I, for one, don't have anything against the Rangers. And how could I? They were on the losing side of my favorite team's first ever World Series in their current city, and they lost an absolute heartbreaker to my second favorite team. When they made the two World Series appearences I was actually pretty happy for them because they were so new. But that's the breaks of back-to-back World Series appearences. The "Shiny new" aspect wears off pretty quick. At this point, I just look at them like I do the old Buffalo Bills. Twice they were basically the sacrificial lambs to a team that nobody outside of Cowboys fans had any positive feelings for, they got killed in ANOTHER Super Bowl vs a pretty ehh Washington team, and they ripped the hearts out of their fans in that fourth game. My thought when they went up 2-0 was, uggh Texas, AGAIN? Who are they gonna cough one up to/get destroyed by this time?Is that fair? probably not, but I couldn't help feeling that way. I simply felt that they were going to eventually going to do what they did in the 7th, and my fear was that instead of doing it against a team as fun to me as the Blue Jays, they were gonna do it against the freaking Dodgers (who I absolutely HATE). And then again maybe next season, too. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.)
