The Mets are going to win tonight. If not, it's over.

Biggest key to the game tonight for both the Mets and Royals will be trying to find a way to score more runs than the other team.

That's a good strategy. Alternatively, they might try to give up fewer runs than they score. If one of these teams can throw a shut-out, I think they'll have a really good chance to win it.

AA's departure isn't surprising at all when you think about what has gone on in the Blue Jays front office over the past year or so. After Rogers unceremoniously kicked Paul Beeston -- the guy who literally built this team and has done more for baseball in this country than anyone ever has -- to the curb just to bring in one of their suits, you'd have to figure Anthopolous would go. And ya know what? I don't blame him. It's the same reason Tim Lieweke lasted what, two years here?

:censored: you, Rogers.

At the end of the day, the team that wins four games first will be in a great position to win the World Series.

So, Mattingly is very close to being hired by the Marlins as their new manager. If anything, it'll show what kind of a manager he really is, as he doesn't have nearly the talent level that he had with the Dodgers (save for a few guys, like a healthy Stanton and Fernandez).

That Miami team is very underrated, IMO. They sure don't have the spending power that the Dodgers do, but I think Mattingly is trying to get away from that. He's basically been a part of the two biggest financial financial powers in the game, why not try a club who has to operate differently than simply throwing buckets of cash after every decision?

Don´t understand why Noah admit he threw in at the head, royals might do the same in the next game, why not just say the pitch got away from him, he does not seem all that bright ?

The Royals threw at more people than anyone that is why they had some many near fights. Ask Blue Jays fans

Okay, just seems a bit dumb to admit it, kinda puts his teammates in harm's way, he is fully aware of the fact he has the next couple of games off.
