This is a shocking story until I got to this part: Quote Walker was riding a dirt bike without lights and did not have a helmet on when he collided with an SUV on Thursday night It's simply reduced to Darwinism at this juncture.

Not smart. I feel sorry for him, but I feel at the same time this kind of thing was bound to happen. Not wearing a helmet, on a bike without lights AND wearing dark clothing? What was he thinking?

Crabcake 1,721 Posted March 18, 2016 An absolutely awful thing to happen. Still, it proves that you have to be smart, not matter who you are out what your situation is.
CS85 10,781 Posted March 18, 2016 I mean it's a terrible thing but it's certainly not a tragedy. When you take 0 precautions over your own life like that, what do you expect?
FiddySicks 11,354 Posted March 19, 2016 And, now he's dead. Dammit. I feel the same way about motorcycles as I do about guns. Mess around with them all you want. But, Jesus, just BE RESPONSIBLE with them. Take every precaution you can possibly take to make sure you and everyone around you is safe. It's really not that hard.
Gothamite 24,508 Posted March 19, 2016 Except motorcycles tend to harm the user, not random passersby. You also don't need to worry about your kid finding the motorcycle in the garage.
Chicageaux 813 Posted March 19, 2016 One of my closest friends and former roommate lost his leg in a motorcycle accident. Having a first hand experience with the matter changed how I drive on the road myself, and while I'll never get on a motorcycle myself, I still have respect for anyone that does or is on the road. It doesn't matter if you take every precaution in the world, or if you're the best motorcyclist ever, if the people around you don't pay attention or take precautions as well. Tray Walker's crash isn't a tragedy but it's an unfortunate circumstance. Taking any bike that's not street legal is asking for trouble and touching on what Bucfan said, you owe it to your fellow motorists to be up to par with the rules of the road.

I just mean that they should both be shown the proper respect in the context of what they do, because they're both potentially deadly (to the user or to others) if not.
Gothamite 24,508 Posted March 19, 2016 Agreed. But man, it sounds almost like he was asking for trouble. Gotta respect the bike.
See Red 2,154 Posted March 20, 2016 The Broncos signed LT Russell Okung, who was serving as his own agent, to as team friendly of a deal as you'll ever see. On paper it's a five year, $53 million contract -- but it has zero cents guaranteed and is back-loaded, essentially making it a one year, $5 million deal with a team option every year after that. As a result, Clady may be done in Denver and it appears it's just a matter of if they trade him or release him outright.

I'd love to see the Ravens try and trade for him, but they probably don't have the assets to trade and they also likely don't have the cap space.

Given his injury concerns it'll probably take a fourth or fifth rounder at best.

Those are usually cheesy* and I think Manning is now one of those players that has two correct teams. He won and lost the same number of Super Bowls with the adult horses as he did the baby horses. *the exception is Jerry Rice who retired in front of a Broncos logo and that was weird. He should've retired in front of a 49ers logo or no logo at all. There's no rule that says you have to have a logoed backdrop at a press conference.
CS85 10,781 Posted March 21, 2016 Jeff Fisher rocking the lemon cream jacket. Bruce Arians looking like he's about to take a golf shot 20 steps away from where this photo was taken. Marvin Lewis keeping himself hunched down to blend in, trying to disappear despite being in the front row.

Arians is from Patterson, NJ, he is about to go to the Bada Bing to meet Tony and Silvio. Tomlin looks too cool, hence him in the back corner and about 6 inches away from whichever new coach that is. I think that's Adam Gase. I don't see Jason Garrett, Bill Belichick (who is there but doing his own thing), Sean Payton and Andy Reid.
