FiddySicks
Now, I've been watching him all season and I've been mighty impressed by a lot of things Kevin Durant does, but I have to say the thing I've been the most impressed by is his defense. When he's on, which has been a LOT this season, the guy is just relentless. For as good of a scorer as he is (And he's one of the best I've ever seen), that's what stands out to me the most about him. DG_ThenNowForever
I'll always support Dion Waiters. He is gonna need to control his temper going forward. Not just that...he offered his thoughts on the Dolan-Oakley incident. I kinda get where he's coming from, but probably not the best choice of words: Quote “The man is a legend. Treat him as such. First off, this is Charles Oakley. Why is he buying a ticket to the game? If I’m not mistaken, Dolan owned that team when he was playing. It wasn’t a problem when he was speaking out then. It wasn’t a problem when he was protecting their superstars then. So, if it wasn’t a problem then, when he was doing it for y’all, why is it all of a sudden now when he’s speaking out on something he don’t like? And now you want to disown him from your entire organization? “That’s a slave mentality. You’re doing it for me, it’s all good, but now you’re doing it against me — or not necessarily against me, but you’re speaking out against my organization — it’s not good anymore? That’s a slave mentality — a slave-master mentality. That’s ridiculous. “It was all fine and dandy when he was laying people out, taking fines and all this stuff for your organization, but now all of a sudden when he says something that he feels, it’s a problem. I disagree with that. I definitely think, like I said, that that’s a slave-master mentality.” http://sports.yahoo.com/news/draymond-green-james-dolans-treatment-of-charles-oakley-is-a-slave-owner-mentality-192828954.html
Unocal
For what it's worth, when LeBron went to South Beach, the Heat team from 2010 wasn't exactly loaded (47 wins, first round loss, Wade and a bunch of guys). if anything that was moreso LeBron and Bosh propping up what had been an underwhelming team after '06. The Six
In general, the Warriors and Seahawks do seem very similar, right down to the fanbases.
dfwabel
Pablo Torre's article on LeBron is a fantastic deep dive into LeBron Maverick Carter and Rich Paul. http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/18686205/the-second-chapter-lebron-james-career Pablo was on NBA Lockdown and Thursday's LeBatard Show (hour 2) if you want just a summary from him. Except that Richard Sherman hasn't actually said or done anything remotely offensive or dangerous. In other news... The Sixers and this scumbag Colangelo are bold-faced liars. 1. The Process has a partially-torn meniscus, though they've been saying that it's just a bone bruise and he's day-to-day. Everyone suspected that they were just tanking agin, but he might actauly be hurt. Didn't stop him from dancing at the rap concert so who knows what the truth is. 2. They said Ben Simons was fine and his debut was soon, but a reporter found the results of the ct scan and apparently his foot isn't healed. May not play this year. Colangelo doesn't confirm any of this but doesn't deny it. He has done everything short of calling it "fake news". Meanwhile they jacked up the ticket prices (since they are now handled by StubHub and can change at any time.) JayMac
@BringBackTheVet I am going to a Sixers game on March 29th. What are the odds that I see Embiid and/or Simmons? Odds to see Embiid are probably slim, odds for Simmons are probably close to none. And both? Not a chance.

The pettiness between the KD and Russ is whats fueling all the stories. As long as the two don't talk to one another, people are going to want to see what happens next, thus the stories will continue flying in. Now, if next season the same type of coverage is applied to this rivalry as it has been this season, then yes I will get tired of it. Unless something juicy happens, like one of those guys throws a punch at the other.
