Or maybe I just wanted to keep the board updated on what the team will wear for the foreseeable future, and the reasons why they are doing so. I'm not that shallow.

I got to work on Boise State’s helmet. I was told to use the throwback script from the WAC days for homecoming, and I tried to separate us from classic Florida (orange helmet, blue script), and not make it seem out of place with the current set (which is where the chrome mask comes in to tie with the numbers and stripes). I’m pretty happy with it, given the constraints. 

 

Dont worry, this is all part of my master plan to get the bronco head on both sides of the helmet.

I too liked the Boise helmet. The script clashing with the pants wordmark isn't really the helmet's fault, but more so the stupid trend of pant wordmarks.

Congrats on your work actually being worn by a major college program! I didn't like the helmet very much, but still a cool accomplishment.

Honestly, for what they are (we can discuss the merits later - I'm getting roasted for doing so on my Twitter at the moment), these Mississippi State uniforms aren't that bad.

 

If they have to do this each year, these are the best they've done. The pattern in the numbers and stripes are so subtle that they might not even be seen on the field.

FWIW, I think this is the first time Vandy has done anything like this for football. Baseball has had their stars-and-stripes unis for a while.
