Bold playoff predictions:

  • Sixers go out in the second round again
  • Bucks win the East
  • Blazers make the WCF
  • Clippers and Nets each win a game
  • If Steph is injured, the Warriors don't repeat. If he's not, they do

No LeBron means I'm less interested that I otherwise would be. And while I think the Nuggets, Blazers and Rockets are all better than they were a year ago, I don't see any of them beating the Warriors. If the Bucks cakewalk to the Finals though, we'll see.

Milwaukee in 4 (Detroit has about as much of a chance as a literal snowball in hell here)

Indiana in 7 (I don't trust Boston, especially with the injury issues that have just popped up)

Toronto in 5 (The Magic will take a game at their place, but that's it)

Philadelphia in 6 (Brooklyn is a great story, but they have the star power that Philadelphia has)

Golden State in 5 (They won't be tested here, but trust me: They need to prepare for what comes next)

Houston in 7 (Best 1st round series in either conference. Houston goes on thanks to home court)

Denver in 5 (The Nuggets are unproven, but they're the better team here)

Oklahoma City in 7 (The lone upset in the 1st round, but come on... Westbrook alone can take at least 2 or 3 games for OKC)

The CCSLC's resident Geelong Cats fan.

Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Sounds like something from a Rocky & Bullwinkle story arc.

I'm the opposite here. I was getting sick of hearing how LeBron had no help around him, true or not, and if the LakeShow had made the playoffs this year, that's all we would have gotten.

I don't think I'll mind not hearing it this year.

-Bucks, Celtics, Sixers, Raptors

-Warriors, Rockets, Thunder, Nuggets
