Discrim
This is definitely not for lack of effort on Toronto's end, but the ECF is the Bucks' to lose. A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull

Discrim
Not quite, but if the Raptors wanna at least avoid getting swept, Kawhi cannot be their entire offense. KDubK414
That game last night went exactly how I hope it would have. After the rousing comeback in game one, the Bucks needed to carry the momentum. They did just that and reaffirmed why they had the best record in the league coming into the playoffs and still do. It's very surreal to be a Bucks fan right now. It's like the Bucks switched places with the Packers, only I don't have the sinking feelings of some inevitable Favre blunder or some completely avoidable brainfart happening while Rodgers can only helplessly watch from the sideline. FiddySicks
Dubs are playing terrible and Portland looks great tonight. Blazers lead by 13 at half, and I still fully expect Golden State to win this game. CS85
This would be a great era of NBA ball if it wasn’t for knowing the Warriors make the finish line a moot point. FiddySicks
Just appreciate it, I guess. What else can you do? I remember people feeling similar about the Bulls during their run, and everyone loves them now. Today is not that day. Maybe this is a lesson for me more than anyone else, but if Durant joining the Warriors during the cap bump was a cheat, you've got to think about Jordan making $33 million on the 98 Bulls while the next-highest paid players were Toni Kukoc and Ron Harper at $4.5M apiece (Pippen was at $2.7M). The NBA salary cap that year was $26.9 million. Patrick Ewing was the second-highest paid player at $20M (Horace Grant was third at $14.2M). Source: https://www.eskimo.com/~pbender/misc/salaries98.txt The NBA salary cap and percentage rules -- no player can make more than 35% of the cap -- came into effect in 1999. Prior to that, teams were allowed to spend whatever they wanted to keep their own free agents. So, on the one hand, the Warriors doing what they're doing is remarkable. On the other hand, if the Jordan rules were in place, Durant could have been offered $50M by the Thunder compared to the $25M he got from Golden State. So, really, who knows. Owners instituted the new rules for cost certainty and to be able to re-sign their own players, but removing the percentage cap for free agents may have been better to keep guys like LeBron in Cleveland (or Miami), Durant in OKC, or Hayward in Utah. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
oldschoolvikings
After all the bitching and whining about how Durant going to the Warriors "broke the NBA" if Golden State won the championship with KD out it would be the funniest friggin thing ever. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
