Korkie
The Orioles have my favorite overall uniform set in baseball. Even these road grays are beautiful. I love the white front panel hat, but even these black with the orange brims are sharp. These, the home whites, and the orange alts are all great. 11 1 "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed."Dr. Kelso: My son is a big baseball fan. WSU151
Watching the Orioles v Red Sox; Orioles’ right- handed pitcher has team patch on left sleeve, Orioles’ right-handed fielders have team patch on right sleeve. Looks like the ad space is largely designed for batters, with max exposure to be shown on TV by the zoomed-in outfield cameras. Some batters have padding covering up the ad as the ad is on the arm that faces the pitcher. Nearly every ad patch has been illegible from 90% of the camera angles for all games today, which is fine by me. 1 Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. tBBP
Because I suppose a hard-working everyday commoner neighborhood like, say, Pigtown wasn't colorful enough...? cajunaggie08
I saw in the parent site's MLB Change Summary that the Astros have officially removed their orange caps from the rotation for this year. They haven't appeared on-field since 2018 but they were listed as an official option and included as official team merchandise the entire time. I even picked up one with a 2022 World Series Champions patch on it the night they won. Oh well. Until next time orange cap. We know you'll be back at some point. 2 1
WSU151
Although it looks like both teams are wearing road unis, the Twins (grays) vs Royals (full powder blue) game is a good looking game 4 Smart is believing half of what you hear. Great throwback look today Salvador Perez had a captain 'C' patch on his uniform. I don't think we've seen that in MLB since Jason Varitek Those new greys for the Twins are sharp. Everything looked great today. The pinstripes are subtle from a distance but look great up close. I also love the throwback striping pattern. Calls back to the 70s and 80s. The new Twins 'M' hat looks way better in game than it did during the reveal. I actually really like how that turned out And non-uniform related, but the pitch clock was fantastic. 2-0 final with 12 combined hits that was played in 2:35. Amazing pace 7 1 Sorry, I'm on an iPad

FiddySicks
The gold bill on the Astros Ring Ceremony uniforms is a LOT. Not sure if I love it or hate it. Definitely don’t want that to become a trend. 2 On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) cajunaggie08
I still hate that there is an ad patch, but I do like that the Astros Oxy patch is gold too. I don't like that there are Oxy logos along the baseline to go with the huge as sign in left-center.

I know that this patch is small; but in addition to the wholly inappropriate ad patch, these things start to add up. Yes, but the World Series patch is also a source of unnecessary clutter. Well, that's where we differ. I totally hate clutter as well (excessive anniversary patches drive me crazy) but I like having something that commemorates something as big as getting to the World Series or any other league's finals and that you can look forward to every year. I feel similarly about someone's debut. It's a big deal.

Hey! I know you're being sarcastic, but that could be Donaldson! 14 hours ago, Ferdinand Cesarano said: The article mentions that "Very few players want higher numbers typically associated with NFL offensive tackles, hockey defensemen[,] or back-of-the-roster scrubs." So the obvious solution presents itself: give those undesireable numbers to the manager and the coaching staff. Problem solved. It's definitely true that the Yankees have retired too damn many numbers. Therefore the onus to remedy the problem that they themselves caused must be on them, not on all of Major League Baseball by means of an offensive practice that spits in the eye of history. I love the Braves one because it's unobtrusive and already a beautiful look. We saw what trying to hit on local culture did with the Coors Field All-Star uniforms that were clearly just the Atlanta ones with three-letter codes and local flora. If it's being jammed down our throats, maybe just taking the home pinstripes and replacing the interlocking NY on the chest with BX, wearing them for a series and putting them on mothballs forever isn't the worst thing in the world. In 2013 and 2014 it was worn for as a home day game cap if they were wearing their white uniform. It must have fallen out of favor with the players by 2015 as it was only worn 5 times that year. 4 times in the first 2 months then it made a final appearance in august. 3
