FOUL SMELLY DUMPSTER TRASH: - White/Black Leotard Pants is horrifically bottom-heavy and the same disgusting look that we hate when the Saints wear it - BFBS1 - BFBS2 - Black/Process Blue/Black/Black retains the poorer helmet, the Black pants, and the leotard look. Blast_Brothers Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 What bugs me most about the Panthers' black helmet combos is that the helmet stripe is the same base color as the pants stripe (and the jersey stripe with the black jerseys), but it doesn't have the outline. I feel like being a different color entirely is the only reason the stripe on the silver helmet sort of works with their normal home and away, and it technically also matches the blue jersey. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

j'villejags Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 This look would make a lot more sense for a team named the Panthers if their '95 cat bros didn't have a history of wearing black/teal/black. I've liked silver helmets/pants being used to help differentiate the two teams. For the same reason, I like gold being visible on the Jags uniforms. I would love to see new helmet stripes, pant stripes, and a fix to the awkward shoulder loops / TV numbers. Also, that all-black Carolina look would look better if there was silver on the helmet stripes OR if they removed the silver from the jersey and pants. Collar should be black as well since it lacks the silver outline. Overall, their look is starting to feel a bit hodgepodge. Forgot to throw that in my last post; I'd be down with Blue/Black/Blue/Black. Overall, this team has a little bit of a dated look and they keep trying to freshen it up with new combos, but none of them help.
