FrutigerAero
Rockies Officially Remove Black Jersey from Rotation – SportsLogos.Net News News from main site: they officially are removing black Rockies top from their rotation even though they haven't worn it in years. Also I assume the article is wrong and this means they and the Cubs are the only National League teams to not max out 4+1? Cuz I don't think Yankees or Tigers do either.

From that article: “But what of the Yankees! Think of the Tigers!” I hear the commenters tapping away. Both the Yankees and Tigers used their two available uniform slots on a set of home and road Spring Training jerseys, and yes, Spring jerseys count against the four. 1 2 2 Quote https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043

Internet brainrot has gotten me to not scroll past the first picture now I guess. 1
LMU
The Rockies black vests never worked when they dropped the purple sleeves. The obnoxious piping made them look like TATC uniforms.
FiddySicks
Yeah I never understood what their angle was wearing a black vest in the first place, but it was even more odd when they paired it with the matching sleeves. The most baffling thing is they kept it around for nearly two decades. I’ve always had this suspicion that they wanted to initially pair it with purple sleeves/socks and black pants, but chickened out at the last minute. 4 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) I believe that was the plan 5
FrutigerAero
I want to heap praise on the Rockies. Their expansion cousins, the Marlins, Diamondbacks, and Devil Rays, have all had major uniform/branding changes at least twice. Two of them actually went as far as adjusting their full names. However, the Rockies have resisted that temptation and have stayed true and faithful to their original design. Some are haters, but The Rockies have build a look and a brand where others have fallen. I'd like to see them emphasize purple more, but even an adjustment like that wouldn't be a rebrand, just regular maintenance. Bravo, Rockies. Bravo, Dinger!

cemps
Spotted online. Wondering if this means the Dodgers primary road jersey will say "Los Angeles" instead of "Dodgers" again. Also, sleeve piping, as pictured below, seems to be gone.
aawagner011
^ I much prefer when LA wears the Dodgers script on the road, partly because I think the script is iconic, but also because the LA script is awkward. However, I am pleased to see they dropped the sleeve piping. It always bothered me how the two jerseys were nearly identical yet one inexplicably had the piping. Dropping it was the right move. I hope they still keep the Dodgers script road jersey.
LMU
In more Dodger news, they updated the batting helmet logo.

How did they manage to get the LA script break right if they couldn't with the regular Dodgers script?

This is a replica jersey, so keep that in mind. The home white Dodgers replica also shows a well-placed script break. So don't count out the on-field jersey having a terrible one! Or, excuse me, not a replica, but a *limited* jersey! (Calling it limited makes no sense to me, but what else is new) Edited March 7 by cemps Jersey is a "limited" jersey not a replica. It seems that since fans don't much need to get anywhere fast, the "limited" jerseys don't have the micro plackets. Go figure.

I *think* it's more of a stitched style logo rather than a puffy sticker. More like cloth and less like foam. PS - You clearly weren't the only one who wasn't sure on the difference. 1 Quote It's where I sit.
