Alright, so...

1) Arizona

2.) Maryland

3.) New Mexico

4.) Ohio (only because it's the only swallowtail...)

Everything else after that is up for debate, but none of them are cracking the top 4.

This is my word...and as such is beyond contestation.*

This is the direction I expected the 'What's the best college football helmet' thread to go.

It never goes the other way around, because Colorado people rarely leave for the perpetually grey, crime-infested, bung hole cities out east.

I never saw more concentrated homeless people than I saw in Denver. Go ride a perpetually grey dick.

I saw the 'hot' tag on this thread and got excited there was a leak. Instead, it's state flag talk. :(

(Texas is No. 1. The only state flag to also be a country's flag.)

they stopped talking about the titans and texans (they didn't even talk about the uniforms, it was something about reddit.) only when i said "texan-titan jacked. 😪" then they started to actually talk about uniforms. who pissed in your cheerio's?

I think you misunderstand what "threadjacking" is. Threadjacking is when a thread about a specific team/topic is derailed into discussion of a completely different team/topic. For example, if the thread were specifically about the Broncos new uniforms, and people start discussing the Browns, it's been CLEVE-JACKEDTM. But a thread about all NFL changes can't be jacked by any NFL team because they're all already included in the discussion.

However, this thread can get jacked by flags.

Sounds like this thread has been flag jacked.

what i meant by TEN-HOU jacked was that they were talking about "statit's" and what they are called on reddit. not a change in the NFL.

Maybe top 25. It’s still just a gold shield on a blue field like many other states. I definitely wouldn’t put it top 5 just because there’s an easter egg.

Hey. Don't gloss over that the easter egg is a beaver. And there's some nice, uniquely arched type om there too.

UW did an interview with a Nike NFL designer that's on his Substack page.  It's paywalled so I'm not going to copy/paste it, but it is absolutely incredible, and both confirms and (mostly) refutes what a lot of us have said about Nike when it comes to the uniform-design process.

If you're truly one of "us", you'll find it well worth the time it takes to read (it's long.)

If the flag was just the beaver it'd have a top 5 case. And I'm happy for the movement away from seals in recent years.

Biased toward Ohio but have always loved the burgee and feel it pairs best with the American flag. #1 aesthetically is probably between New Mexico and Alaska.

Anyway, we don't really need more sports teams relying on state iconography. Create your own identity.

What does it confirm and what does it refute?
