So any highest ranked G5 champion below ranked below 12 would be the 12th seed anyway. Updated it every year in the offseason based upon change in location, retirement, firings, moving to the pros, etc. I can remember when there were 7-8 active college coaches who had won national championships. This year, with Harbaugh going to the pros IMMEDIATELY after winning one, Saban retiring, and Jimbo Fisher being fired, we are down to only 3. THREE! The NCAA or the Big XII could still rule on this, though. It'd be smart of one of them to do this, especially since we've had schools dealing with football players getting killed drag racing while drunk just over a year ago.
