I don't think the cardinals were in need of a new identity. The logo and uniforms were classic, even if the players that filled them were not.However, i think if this is done right, it can be an enhancement of what they already have.If done poorly, we're looking at the 2005 version of the Buffalo Bills. I just hope they are everything you have hoped for.The only thing that seems stranger than seeing the Cardinals in new uniforms would be seeing their logo in the endzone of a Super Bowl.If they have to change the color of the helmet, I hope they go for silver. Red and silver would be unique to the NFL. Think Patriot uniforms but substitute all the blue for red with a slightly modernized Cardinals logo.
