It's just not visually appealing at all. I feel the same way about most logos that are just block letters. Because if its the "S" then Penn State would also have to be there. By the way, I dont think there are any bad logos in the Big Ten, but the spartan helmet is, by far, one of the best. well the big 10 and the pac 10 was the 2 hardest ones to do.......when i think of penn st i think of the lion head, and i base mich st. on S and the Startian, its kind outdated, i mean look what San Jose St. did to improve from that same logo a few years back The MSU Spartan helmet outdated?! How about no. It is classic in it's simple yet bold style. And I don't view San Jose St. version as an improvement. And Washington St's cougar head is an example in genius design. My vote for worst in the Pac-10 would be Arizona. I once had a car but I crashed it. I once had a guitar but I smashed it. I once, wait where am I going with this? Honestly, do you have eyes? San Jose State made an ancient historical piece of fearsome battle equipment look like a pineapple hat worn by a drunk boater at a Jimmy Buffet concert. vs. well i'm not a big fan of old, plain logos(yes i'm a fan of modern logos there i said it!!! ) so thats why i said what i did about mich st.............................and on the bucky beaver, who made that new verson of him, that looks really good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know it's not an official "logo", but it looks sweet on merchandise. The block "M" in the square is sweet as well. I'm not a huge fan of the "split M" logo with "MICHIGAN" in it, but the Nike version is nice. I am a homer. Deal with it.)2. Ohio State. I know it will get me shot here in Ann Arbor, but the Buckeyes' primary logo, and block O are sweet. Their uniforms and team gear is cool. I could do without the black on the clothing, but the scarlet and grey is sweet. I need to vomit now.3. Penn State. Circle logo with the lion head is awesome. They do it right in Happy Valley.4. Wisconsin. I love Bucky Badger. All the Wisconsin gear I see I like. Hell, I even bought a Bucky logo hat in Madison for the football game. They look great, and I love the hockey unis.5. Iowa. I dig the TigerHawk logo, but hate the Steelers uniforms. I liked the banana peel for a while, and really liked the 97 Tim Dwight with IOWA on them.6. Illinois. The chief and circle I logo are nice. 7. Michigan State. I like the spartan head, hate the block S, but like the block S on the helmets much better than the Spartan Head. Go figure. I think MSU had perfect unis in 2001 with Duckett and Smoker there. I also like the basketball font.8. Purdue. The train logo is cool, and I like the black and gold, but it really doesn't scream "tradition" to me, which I like in BigTen schools.9. Indiana. A whole lot of blah. Not a huge fan.10. Northwestern.
