What is the purpose of the rounded hems? I don't get it. I understand the tighter fit and some of the other features helped performance (Ya right) but how do rounded hems do anything

Here's my theory: the rounded hems are there because Reebok's Edge jerseys were originally designed to be skin-tight and tucked-in. When folks in the league balked, RBK relented and went with a more traditional fit, but left the rounded hems.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

I think I heard the same thing too. The original purpose to have them tucked in.

But they all look so weird no with the rounded part, I wonder if they will change that like the Rangers did themselves last season.

And from the picture of Guerin they still look skin tight to me, lol.

One of the new Habs vintage jerseys has the RBK cut and everything, expect for the hem, which is oddly just like the old jerseys.

The one with the Barberpole...

Maybe other teams will follow??

Winter Classic jerseys (and other stuff) are now available for pre-order.

US $350 for a blank jersey, US $430 for customized. Time to get crackin', Chinese bootleggers!

I like the $36.99 for a Winter Classic Player Name/Number T-shirt. Why is it twice the price of the regular player t-shirts? Is it because they screwed up last year and didn't make authentic jerseys or even replicas that were accurate (edge cut) and they are trying to catch up on a cash cow they screwed up the first time around? I find it ironic that I hate almost everything my favorite league does, yet cant stop my self from wanting to buy their stuff. So far I've yet to get an edge jersey, so I think I'm holding out ok, but could be stronger!

They are higher quality tees. Softer feel, must nicer feeling and looking than a regular tee.

You mean like those $45 "Retro Sport" tees sold at Distant Replays and Marshall F... I mean Macy's? Yeah, that price point's b.s. too.

Based on the Centennial Celebration photos the Canadiens website had back in September, the barberpole jersey, other than having the NHL logo in the collar area, is not an EDGE jersey. The sleeves are wider and the jersey itself is cut like the regular jerseys the league had before last season. (Just like that other vintage white jersey with the blue body stripe.)

Judging by this pic of Tampa's new third, the victory stripes are back.

Bolts 3rd

Oh dear god...

As if "BOLTS" wasn't bad enough...

Love the color.

Take out the piping and give that thing a real logo, and you've got a hands down winner
