AAO
Just so you know, Jiggs, I never entered anything in this contest mainly because I smelt bs from the start. And if you all remember Andrew Harrington's entry in this contest, light years ahead of the one they picked, IMHO. Whatever, cheers to the dude who won I suppose.I don't remember his entry. Anyone care to repost it?http://boards.sportslogos.net/index.php?sh...mp;#entry936862Scroll down a little. There's two versions, one with a Colts helmet and one without. Andrew Harrington's version is a huge number of times better than the actual winner. On the other hand, there's no telling just how much this newlycrowned secondary will be seen on Colts merchandise. On the other hand, there's no telling just how much this newlycrowned secondary will be seen on Colts merchandise.I see flaws with both Andrew's and the winner's logos. One is somewhat modern, fun but bordering on xtreme. The other is ho-hum but polished. IMO the winning entry was chosen because it has a traditional feel and clean. Andrew's logo with the sharp edges lacks warmth. Not that Andrew's was bad. It was just a matter of who the Colts were targeting. powersurge
Its a nice secondary logo......for a team that ISN'T the Indianapolis Colts.Everything about their look is "traditional", why would they go the complete opposite with this logo????I'm not a fan. The logo is fine, it just doesn't work for them IMO.
Korkie
I actually kinda like the logo. The horseshoe is very traditional, but I think this logo will appeal to kids and would look nice on a children's t-shirt. If they use it in marketing to kids it could be effective, however if it ends up as a sleeve patch or something, then that would be a sign of the apocalyspe. pcgd
I have a feeling you'll see it on a few t-shirts in the team shop and that'll be it.If you see it as part of their logo guide I'd be shocked.

DEAD!
It's actually not a bad design. I think they should have had a white horse with pale blue hair. (in other words switch those colours around) I saw, I came, I left.

I guess it is supposed to be along the lines of "Fear the Turtle", but it's just not working.I think it's trying to be clever via homophones - horse/hoarse - but it just comes up awful in the process. eRay
I don't understand why they used light blue. I thought gray was more of a team color than light blue ever was. Before this year I never saw any light blue on their website or any promotional materials. I wish they avoided the color.
