neo_prankster
I'd sort of love to see the Grizzlies move to Seattle.Wouldn't you rather see them go back to Vancouver? The Fictional Story of Austus
Island_Style
Jacksonville has my hair falling out one minute, then a strong sense of security the next. Luckily we are winning at the right time. Now people who were young when this team was born are getting to the age where their careers are taking off and can afford season tickets. The most hard core Jaguar fans in the area are my age, 25-30. We are in the middle of a record off season for season ticket renewal. I think we were close but the bullet is dodged. In my mind the 2007 season saved the Jaguars.

People will still move to (north) Florida, but there is not much of an economy there outside of tourism. Looking at Daytona tonight, that was not sold out. I think the NFL loves to be the only team in town and will try to keep them there.
FiddySicks
The A's may as well start packing. I've heard possiblitites of them moving for almost 4-5 years now. Sure, the destinations in mind have changed (Las Vegas, Portland, San Jose) but i'm pretty sure in some time they'll be on there way somewhere. I'm betting by 2013 the A's will call San Jose home.I've been saying this since the day I signed up here it feels like, but if the A's do move away from Oakland, it'll be Sacramento before it's San Jose. The Giants have a strangle hold over the San Jose market, while the A's have a lock on the growing Sacramento area market. Plus they as well have a nearly brand new AAA stadium that could be expanded into one of the nicest major league stadiums in the bigs in is little as 6 months to a year if need be. Sacramento Athletics has a better chance than most give credit for, and if the Kings move, which is likely, I feel that baseball will be here within as little as five years. Yeah, we all know Boston and the Yanks will be good draws, but look at some of the recent game attendance in the boxscore and I think you'll see its on the way up. Viper
By looking from your location of MSP, HHH Metrodome aint much better from my last two visits there. I understand it's a air-filled roof, but to only allow fans to exit through the rotating doors was a bit much.Yup, the Dome blows for baseball (especially when they open the regular doors), and I would call it slightly below average at best for football. At least the Twins have only a season and a half left to play there before their new park is ready. But there's very little interest in building a new stadium for the Vikings, even though their lease at the Dome lasts just four more seasons. That's why I ranked them at the top of my "most-likely-to-move" list.
Saint Zephyr III
What we have to consider is that Seattle has become THE premier relocation site for the NBA. Kansas City does have the new arena, but Seattle needs to simply renovate KeyArena and voila: instant location in one of the top-15 markets in the country. The Grizzles is the easiest entity to move and lose their history. The Kings just need Al Davis as their owner. For what--so he could then sign seemingly every overrated and/or overage washed up former superstar in the L--and then overpay for half of them??? (And if the ol' senile bastard really wanted to return the team to its roots, it'd end back up in Rochester--by way of Cincinnati...after playing several games in Omaha, that is. And reinstate the "Royals" moniker.) *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
Gothamite
This list is incomplete without the Rams.True enough - they're at the top of my list.Number two is then the Jacksonville Jaguars, which would move to St. Louis. LMU
I don't see how KeyArena can be renovated to NBA standards. It already had the smallest capacity in the NBA, and the structure itself was what prompted the Thunderbirds to move to Kent. How do they expect to fit more seats in there without tearing the whole building down?
tBBP
Imma just put it out there: I personally don't see the Jacksonville Jaguars moving anytime soon. I hope they don't move anywhere.Quite honestly, in my opinion, if the whole stadium issue (or the lack of funding for renovations or a completely new one) is really a major driving force behind these recent relocations, then I think I might want to prep myself to start hearing the words "Los Angeles" and "Vikings" in the same sentence in my near future.Well hell--at least they'll already share a common color scheme with arguably the biggest pro ticket in town in the Lakers......But that's just me. *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
