Cujo
Carl Peterson was fired. Herman Edwards was fired. Gunther Cunningham signed with Detroit. Pioli was hired. Cutler's out of this division. Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels wants my team's quarterback. This is truly the best offseason ever.I said it when it went down last December, and I'll say it again now: The Broncos should have NEVER fired Mike Shanahan. This is going to be Denver's worst season in ages, probably going back to the pre-Elway days. And to all the discontent, blood-thirsty Denver fans who are more than happy to see Shanahan and Cutler to the door (trust me, there are a good number of them out there), I hope you enjoy 4-12! BlueSky
What a disaster in Denver. The team AND Cutler behaving badly. I understand his point of view but the NFL is business and he has to accept that. As for the Broncos...wow. They're in danger of being cellar-dwellers with all this drama plus no QB plus a new coaching staff. Could get ugly.If I'm Detroit and Denver would take the #1 pick for Cutler, why not? He's a proven commodity. They could draft Stafford or Sanchez only to discover the next Ryan Leaf. Why take the risk? An experienced QB in Cutler and you save all that money you would have paid the #1 guy regardless of what position they draft, praying he's not a bust? Isn't that a no-brainer? dwertman
I dont see Cutler going to an AFC team...I could see another AFC team in a 3 way deal (ie. Cleveland),but Cutler will be in the NFC...prolly Tampa with an outside shot at Detroit or ChicagoIf I was the Lions I wouldnt move that #1 for him...move the 20 and another pick or two and take one of those O linemen,to help keep Cutler upright Kings Cross AFC -BIP, Winnipeg Falcons - TNFF, St. Louis Archersย - MLF ย
epper
please please any teamโi mean ANY teamโbut the Jets. i really don't want the Bills to have to face him twice a year.I think Detroit would be very smart to make a move on him. But one of the under-the-radar teams that could make a move on him is the Panthers. After the Delhomme Disaster in the playoffs last year, they really could use a new QB of the future. Could you imagine Cutler heaving up bombs to Steve Smith? It could pair the best arm in the league with the one of the fastest players in the league. That would be deadly (to NFC teams and to teams playing me in the keeper league I own Cutler. )and oh yeah, they have an All-Pro pass rusher that's dying to be traded. And you know what...that really don't surprise me, seeing as to how Snidey loves handing out these exhorbitant contracts to big-name free agents--or in this case, disgruntled players with a high profile.Usually, when Snyder targets a player he wants, he ends up getting him.
