I don't see any more throwback games on the schedule.

THANK GOD!

It's okay to see throwbacks once in a great while, but week, after week, after week?? It's freakin' overkill!

Hey, back in the day they wore those unis every week! ^_^

And there's a reason a lot of us like the throwbacks -- they're better than the crap being churned out today. Most of today's uniforms suck.

Anything this week? I don't see any more throwback games on the schedule.

It's not happening this week, but on the 20th of December the Broncos and Raiders are wearing their throwbacks against each other.

News to me and probably all of us...unless you are using sarcasm....

Finley on the Packers is wearing one of the new ultra-tight jerseys this week. Addai on the Colts had been wearing one the last couple of weeks. In both cases, they look like crap. Simply put, traditional stripes, whether on the sleeve or on the shoulder, do not work with this jersey cut. If the NFL decides to adopt this new uniform style league-wide, a bunch of teams are going to have to change their looks to avoid looking like they've stuffed their players into cheap youth replica jerseys.

In an odd way, this is the opposite problem of what the NHL encountered a couple of years ago. While most teams should change their looks to adapt to the new jersey cut, most probably won't, and will end up looking terrible. Time has shown that most NHL teams didn't have to change their looks to fit into the Reebok Edge template, but many of them did anyway, and ended up looking terrible.

The 2010s have the potential to be a very aesthetically unpleasant decade in sports. And not just unpleasant, but also probably boring, unlike the 1970s, when teams at least had the tendency to be fun and wacky when they were ugly.

I noticed that, too. The cut works fine for the Giants, is so-so for the Jaguars and not so good on the Colts and Packers. It seems to me that instead of having a knitted stripe insert that spans the area from seam to seam, a better approach might be to simply sew a strip of twill from front of armpit to back of armpit. The area in which the shoulder loops and sleeve stripes can fit is too small on this particular cut for the traditional technique to work.

The tiniest of all shoulder loops:

That s#*t looks positively ridiculous.

And they really need to find a better spot to stick that NFL equipment patch...that placaement is butt-nasty.

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁

Wow. Check out how tiny the numbers are, as well.. when compared to the "normal cut".

Something about this shot makes Finley look like a character from Madden 2003 for PS2 Photoshopped into actual game action.

Also note that the Packers are the first team with striped neck trim to try out the new jersey cut. Notice how the outer green and yellow stripes are apparently now incapable of wrapping all the way around. There will have to be some changes made, one way or another.
