Krona Posted December 28, 2009 Share Posted December 28, 2009 Ive seen a couple of questionable shirts here in eugene, but thats expected with the over-abundance of merch. theyre everywhere, including goodwill. i used to work at a screen printer here in town. the opportunity is there to make whatever you'd like, but each year the goons from nike and disney pay a visit to audit your shop. it could be that the bad shirts are from the ohio end and they dont really give a flip. that would explain why i saw the shirt in question and fred meyer, who is a subsidiary of ohio-based chain, kroger. Colorado waxed them, then proceeded to take Texas to the woodshed in the Big 12 Championship game. A few years later, Oklahoma, however, did lose the Big 12 Championship game as the #1 ranked team in the country and emerged still the #1 ranked team in the BCS standings and thus played in the National Championship game, losing to LSU. Of course, this means there will be pretty much no yellow aside from trim.I too would have preferred the throwbacks from a purely aesthetic standpoint but in the Rose Bowl, the pinnacle of your season's achievement, you should wear uniforms that represent your team, not teams from 15 years ago. So it is White helmet, Green jersey and White pants as the article stated. Think it will look really good. Cant wait for the game. GO DUCKS!!!!! Let's hope they choose not to.No way The Buckeyes wear those things again. At least I sure hope not. Let's go with the basic road uniform and look good for our annual BCS loss. Also, I am a huge fan of throwbacks and retro uniforms but I gotta be honest, Oregon's throwbacks are a bit boring to me. I actually like some of the nutty stuff they wear now. On occasion, they hit on a combo that really looks good. It's rare but it does happen. Actaully, I don't care what either team wears as long as the final score shows Ohio State with at least one more point than Oregon. I doubt that it will but a person can hope right? And their silver helmets look a bit brighter than normal too.Still think they made a mistake in changing the pants to flat grey.
