I would still hope he returns to Philly. He is holding out, so if they spent that much $$ on a DB, then where is there money for their 2nd most important offensive player. We know three things about Andy Reid:1- He likes to eat.2- He does not parent his kids very well. 3- He pass/run ratio is close to 65-70%. Mike Vick's runs are pass plays which break down

Dexter Morgan
Why did they have to go and get my hopes up. I never thought Aso was an option until 3 days ago, I've said all spring and summer that we need to bring back Holmes (check) and one of Edwards and Cromartie. Now I'm disgusted with how it played out.

The Jets were not talking during the lockout, but those who write about the NYJ were.
BBTV
They've done the 3 good CB thing before for one season, then it blows up. I'd expect one season with all three and then Asante is gone. Who knows though. Who knew about this? "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." How is this at all even remotely similar to the Heat? LeBron was a douche about the whole thing, they had a huge preseason show saying they were going to win it all. Has anyone besides bloggers said that about the Eagles? Eh, I wouldn't expect anything more from a 'Boys fan.I cannot wait for the season to start. Very curious to see how the fat man uses these three. I don't see Asante leaving (at least this year). Perhaps a bunch of nickel packages? Or just constant subbing for fresh legs? I feel bad for Manning, Beck, and Romo this year, that's for sure. Please please please let this be the year we win it all although I am not getting my hopes up, especially after McNabb-TO debacle. erikas | go birds | dribbble

The NBA and NFL lockouts did not allow for such a show and the cable time did not allow it for such a show to be sold in late July.
Dexter Morgan
So the Jets won't bring back Edwards, if not him, Malcom Floyd. Lights Out
Knowing AJ Smith, he'll just sit on his hands and let him go to the Jets. Also, Steve Smith is now off the table. The Chargers are screwed. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

cameroncrazie07
I'm still not afraid of the Eagles, when push comes to shove we all know that Vick will be breaking down by about week 10, and will once again be unable to win a big game. I cannot wait to see what Romo and Witten will do against them. Just like in 09 they'll have the short routes wide open. Bring on the Eagles baby. History shows these mega-deals seldom work out the way people think they will because again, one player doesn't make a champion. Offensive minds like Mike McCarthy and Sean Payton will figure out a way to exploit just about any defense.
