FiddySicks
FINALLY found one of my biggest ever Whales. Reds early 90s 59Fifty. Complete with with the original iron on MLB batterman(!) This is seriously the cap that got me into collecting fitted caps, and probably one of the biggest reasons I'm a sports uniform nut. That decal is fairly prevalent on eBay, so I say go it. I had the same problem where I couldn't find a helmet I love (The Skins' "feather" helmet), so I just made my own. It's a very rewarding process. Check out my site at stevebcreations.com

First off, congrats!! Curious -- are you going to ever wear it or it it too valuable to you to wear? I only ask because sometimes I'm torn about wearing my most prized memorabilia. I have a Kenyon Martin authentic jersey which got me into collecting jerseys over a decade ago and I NEVER wear it out for fear of it being ruined but I wear it at home for big games that need the extra luck factor (its been a few years, as you can imagine). However, I'm sure with caps it may be different.
