pmoehrin Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Like the matchup. That's about as south as I'd want to go for an outdoor game though. Philly's cold in the winter, but I wouldn't call it freezing. I'd say temperature is definitely going to be a concern but its more then worth it though for this game. Best idea the NHL has had in decades.Only other cities I can think of capable hosting this game that haven't done so already are Columbus, Denver, Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York and Washington. If I were the NHL I'd look into how you could potentially put a covering over the ice without affecting sight lines that much.
