it's an internet phenomenon that just found its way here.

Funny how it's always the troublemakers who suffer from this devastating condition. Funnier still is how their condition doesn't seem to show up until they're getting their asses kicked over their behavior. I'm sure it's just a coincidence.

You summed up exactly what I was thinking when spleen played the Aspergers card. Well said.

By the way, for all the :censored: everyone gave me last year, at least I didn't pull out the mental-disorder card.

You kept on accusing me of trying to piss people off and I wasn't really trying to. I didn't want to have to either, but I didn't every troll tries to do that. Of course, this board attracts autistic people because of the subject of it. The only thing that pisses me off is when people say they have OCD to make themselves feel special. I really had no idea that so many people had payed the autism card. If I did, I wouldn't have done it.

Wow, Ohio State is screwed. I have a feeling Terrelle Pryor is not going to be the only Buckeye to leave. The players see that the program is going down the tubes. They may meet the same fate that USC did. Forget Big Ten Championship, they might not finish in the upper halve of their division next year.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

Gosh, Wisconsin fans might as well start ordering tickets for the Big Ten Championship game now and avoid the rush. I think Illinois might finish runner-up in that division. Which is scary.

I say the Buckeyes have been doing nothing wrong-the NCAA's just refusing to evolve. The game's changed, yet here the NCAA chooses to be stuck in the '50s, maintaining strict policies which haven't been the norm since "Leave It to Beaver" was on the air...

IT'S A NEW DAY NCAA-GET WITH THE TIMES OR GET LEFT BEHIND!

Autzen Stadium just looks incomplete to me. My mind is thinking "when will Oregon finish the stadium and make it look like Tampa Stadium/Liberty Bowl?"

I've thought the same thing, and I hope not.

The NCAA is still trying to uphold some idea of "fairness". If you can't see how letting students sell crap/equipment they get for free presents a major recruiting incentive, I don't know what for say. It's like money laundering for illegal benefits.

And based on the commentaries from players at some schools with copious athletic departments and insane fanbases, such as Texas, it IS possible for a school to keep track of everything that is going on with the players.

Didn't need to. You had already told us you were a diehard Clippers fan. A mental disorder is just assumed at that point. :)

This week in "how pathetic is Indiana's football program?"

I was checking their schedule, and was pleased to see that they did not whore out the home game against Penn State to Washington DC this season. I was less pleased to discover that the reason the didn't do so was that they couldn't, as they were playing at Ball State and North Texas. I was extremely displeased when I realized the North Texas game was not a return game for an earlier home trip to Bloomington.

Indiana football: We play road games against Sun Belt teams without getting them to come to our home stadium first.

They don't have to get with the times because there's no one that will "leave them behind." They're pretty much it when it comes to American college football. Who's going to compete with them? Who's going to leave them in their dust? No one. That's why the NCAA can continue to uphold these outdated principals. In the end upholding them won't hurt them.
