Notable snubs in the AL CC Sabathia, Paul Konroko

Konroko's having a solid year, I suppose. But that Paul Konerko, he coulda/shoulda been an All-Star. And he still might with the extra man vote. Also, this could quickly devolve into a "here's a guy from my favorite team that got snubbed," but Philip Humber had better numbers than a few of the guys who made the AL staff. Not saying he should've been an All-Star, just pointing that out.

TYLER CLIPPARD!

beat out more deserving Danny Espinosa and Michael Morse. At least Michael Morse is in the final vote competition.

Tell me how Teixeira is not on this team, I'm going to sound like a homer here but 25 homers should be enough to get you in.

Maybe he can ask Jeter to give up his spot because he doesn't deserve to be on the All-Star team.

I'm happy for James Shields, and Matt Joyce being in. Both played great. David Price didn't have a great year, but hey, he's an ace. Zobrist is in the voting, which he won in 2009.

I guess if I were to call snubs, Johnny Damon would be the biggest one. He's the team MVP so far. Then Casey Kotchman, who doesn't qualify in the stats, even though he is batting .336.

That is actually surprising about Tex and CC.

I would do that in a second. I'm a huge Jeter fan, but there is no reason why he should be on the All-Star team. Asdrubal Cabrera deserved it a whole lot more than he did.

Also, I just saw that Victorino is on the 34th man vote again. Is it just me or does it feel like he's on that every year? I could've sworn he was on it another time.

Who the hell is Alex Avila?

Are you kidding me? Best catcher in the AL!

I would argue more the catcher having the best first half.

He deserves the accolades, easily, but I don't think he's a better player than Joe Mauer, despite Mauer being injured all year.
