The Big Ten would like to admit both Villanova and South Florida to the Conference. Their incompetence tonight proves they belong.

Somewhere in downtown Indy, Bo Ryan gave a standing ovation at his TV set or at his laptop.

Somewhere in Wisconsin, Dick Bennett smiled while finishing his Johnnie Walker Blue.

HOLY SWAC!

Sixth-seeded Alcorn State (9-21) is beating third-seeded Prairie View A&M (14-17) 65-27 early in the second half...

I think we have our proof the Rozelle rule applies to hoops too...

Uh oh. Washington despite being the PAC 12 champs were listed as a bubble on most brackets. They are currently down by 13 to 9 seeded Oregon State. Could this be the first time a big conference winner misses the tourney entirely?

And the Beavers pulled it off...Oregon State 86, Washington 84.

Here be the point when the Pac-12 officially became a "mid-major" conference.

Nah. Washington is still a lock to make the tourney. Same goes for Cal. However, those could be the only 2 teams to qualify from the Pac-12 should Cal win the tourney.

Now imagine the cluster:censored: if Cal loses to Stanford tonight. The 2 best teams would officially be on the bubble from the PAC.

Oregon would be the best bet if Cal loses. They just have to beat Colorado. I really do believe if they beat Colorado, they are in.

Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.

The Ducks making the Pac-12 Title game would be the clincher IMO.

As for Colorado goes, they've gotta win the whole damn thing to dance. If not, they're headed straight for the 'Not In Tournament', again.

Northwestern probably needs to win tonight to ensure the university's first appearance in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship since 1997 (as a 12-seed, losing to fifth-seeded George Washington.)

They're already on the bubble. The two best teams would officially be on the wrong side of the bubble.

Unless they unexpectedly lose to the Beavs tomorrow, Arizona has all-but locked up a spot in the Pac-12 Title Game and a trip to the NCAAs.

Minnesota all but knocked out Northwestern from the NCAA tourney, and for what? A slightly better seeding in the NIT? <_<

Are you suggesting Minnesota should've just laid down and taken the loss?

The Cats looked solid today which was good. The only meeting with the Beavers we won in OT and a mini brawl broke out. The thing that sucks is that even if we win, that doesn't really help us because the Beavers are the 9th place Pac-12 team.
