WOW! That Len Bias jersey is unreal.... Would love to have one of those! Great finds. That Ray Allen Sonics jersey is sick too

Literally. Because it's a counterfeit.

As is the Carmelo Anthony.

Yeah, after a little research I found M&N didn't make a Bias jersey. Still makes a cool display item in sports room. Not sure about the Anthony....prob also a knockoff, but a good one if you don't know what to look for. All the other non M&N stuff I own looks legit.

When did M&N start making jersey's for collectors market?

I'm not trying to say this in a condescending way because I'm not positive it is fake (although I do believe it is) but why would Mitchell and Ness make a Hardwood Classics jersey for Carmelo in Denver, a team he was only on a couple of years ago?

I'm thinking it's a fake too, but a damn good one.

since some of you are having luck with Marshall's and TJ Maxx on MLB authentic jerseys if anyone in the Atlanta area can check for a size 60 Braves and PM me the price and if it is home, alternate, road, etc. I would appreciate it. If the price is right I would be more than happy to work out something to get it.

I can't wait until I'll be down in the US next week. I'll be sure to do some shopping if I have time.

Which store will I have the best luck finding sports merch? Marshalls, TJ Maxx, or Ross?

No Marshalls here in SC, but never find anything at the Ross' I've been to in NC/SC. Lately all TJ Maxx has are overproduced college t's, sometimes marked to $8. Still not a deal. Glad others are having better luck. Must be a regional thing.

I'm in the metro area, and keep up with Marshall's/Ross/TJMaxx, and we haven't been getting Braves jerseys or anything. Just tshirts and snapbacks at the moment.

Earlier in the spring/late winter they did get blank authentic Hawks jerseys, and replica Thrashers jerseys, but that's about it recently...

Thanks for the info I appreciate it. My TJ Maxx only got the old road and alternate Wizards blank authentics, last time I looked they were down to $5 on clearance. Nothing in the way of baseball, football or hockey jerseys just Redskins tees. Marshall's and Ross here never get anything authentic.

Maybe not a big find for some but recently I found this Thrashers hat a a local store called "Pro Jersey" for 10 bucks. I always loved the Thrashers logo and being in Illinois didn't come across it very much...or at all.... 306924_10151218047919498_2005464987_n.jpg

To complement all of the other Cosmos merch, the Ross in Meridian (a stones throw from Boise) had a couple of white short sleeve jerseys (12.99). Also grabbed a red England shirt (13.99).

Went and checked out my local (Harrisburg Pa) Ross and Marshall's today. The Ross had those same things and also a long sleeve white England jersey. They also had a bunch of MLS jerseys.

More to my liking was the orange Syracuse sweatback. Only thing stopping me from getting the SU jersey is that the collar shield was out of place and I already have the Pitt and WVU ones. Big East overload.

The Marshalls only had Ibanez Phillies jerseys and one of the crazy striped Baltimore BP jerseys.

J M yoU wish you had a Duke Dog!

I was in Athens, Ohio this weekend and my friends and I popped into one of my favorite places in Athens, Ski's Teases and Collectibles. I found this gem:

BRMFH.png

Big Red Machine era Reds cap, fitted, without the MLB logo on the back. It fits better than any fitted hat I've ever owned and it's in great shape and doesn't look like it's been worn at all. I paid $5 for it. I would've paid $20. It was destiny.

That's a great looking ball cap. Actually, that very hat was the first ever fitted, or "pro fit" hat I ever saw way back in the 3rd grade and was absolutely fascinated at the idea of sized baseball caps (the one I saw had the MLB logo on the back, though). I've been downright obsessed with fitted caps ever since :P

Wish I could find a good version of that cap. Mickeysplace.com has them, but with the raised embroidery on the C logo, it's just not the same.

I can't decide whether my favorite thing about it is the flat embroidery or the lack of the MLB logo on the back. Sometimes simple is better.

The Ross near me also had a ton of Cosmos jerseys, including a yellow one. Also had a white long sleeved England jersey. I scooped a blue team USA jersey for $15. The one from the 2010 World Cup. There were tons of MLS jerseys also but they seemed pretty chintzy, I'd say a step below replica.

What brand of cap is that? It doesn't look like a New Era. Can you take pictures of the inside?
