-Akronite- Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Agreed on NBC using the Bengal head instead of that useless 'B' logo.But I think the Bengals would've looked much better in their white on black uniforms. The white on white just does not work with a modern uniform like that. And other than the white side-panels on the orange and black jerseys (and maybe the drop-shadow on the jerseys), I LOVE the current Bengals set. No more monochrome in national games.I'd expect them to keep the monochrome blue look as their alternate for next season.And if the Broncos wanted to, they could wear orange for the playoffs. The monochrome blue looks awful.Wouldn't a team have to get league's permission to wear an alternate in the playoffs? As for alternates in the playoffs, it's my understanding that the league has recently tightened the rules restricting the use of thirds, so not in the playoffs. Princeton did the "tiger striped letter" approach way before the Bengals... and pulled it off way better.
