Off the top of my head, I can remember:

2005 White Sox in Chicago and later in Anaheim for the ALCS.

2007 Red Sox in Anaheim.

2008 Philadelphia Phillies for games 3 and 5 of the NLCS.

2010 San Francisco Giants in LA

2009 World Baseball Classic Japanese team (in the finals).

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall

I found this a little odd. I have been to countless MLB games over the years. I have every ticket stub from 1994 on. Over those 17 years, I have managed to see every American League team and quite a few from the NL. yet in those 17 years, at no point at any of the numerous games I attended, did I manage to see that season's eventual World Series Champion in person. I saw quite a few pennant winners, but never the eventual World Series winner. Maybe it's just me, but I think the odds against that have to be pretty large. Before 1994, I have no idea. But from 1994 on, I never managed to pull it off...that's just weird to me.

MLB:

1984 Detroit Tigers (I was at WS Game Five when they clinched the series)

NFL:

1984 49ers. They beat the Browns 41-7. Sidenote: A good friend of mine is a huge 49ers fan. I went to that game with him. As a joke, my buddy the Niners fan bet a Browns fan friend of ours that for every seven points the Browns scored, the Niners would score 40; and he won the bet. Gotta love my Browns. They never disappoint.

NBA:

1989 Detroit Pistons

I don't attend a ton of sporting events, but:

2003-04 TB Lightning (attended 2/10/2004 game against Toronto)

2009 NY Yankees (attended 4/14, 7/27, and 7/29/2009 games against Tampa Bay) -- Also attended a few games in 2008 when Tampa Bay won the AL pennant

Never traipsed into Raymond James to see the '00 Ravens, '02 Bucs, '07 Giants, or 2009 Saints play there.

I saw Connecticut and Butler play on the same night last year in the 2011 NCAA Tournament...but not in the championship. I was down in the Verizon Center for the Butler-Pittsburgh game as well as the Cincinnati-Connecticut game, though I didn't get to the first game (Butler-Pitt) until early in the 2nd half.

So I saw both the teams in that year's championship play in the same place on the same night, and I didn't even have to travel all the way to Houston. ^_^

2010 San Francisco Giants (A ton of home games including game 1 of the World Series)

2008 Philadelphia Phillies (vs the Giants in SF. Mothers Day, I believe)

2002 Oakland Raiders (vs the 49ers at the Coliseum. My first regular season NFL game. Ok so they lost the Super Bowl to the Bucs, but I wasn't complaining :P)

2007/2008 Tennessee Lady Vols (vs the Stanford Cardinal. This game was the only game they lost in the final two years of the Candice Parker era. They ended up playing Stanford again in the finals and beat them)

2006/07 Anaheim Ducks (had partial season tickets that year)

I know there has to be a good handful I'm missing. I saw Chelsea in a friendly once, and I think it was the year they won the EPL, but I'm not sure that counts.

1995 World Series Champions (Braves)

2010 NCAA Baseball National Champions (South Carolina)

2011 NCAA Baseball National Champions (South Carolina)

2010 BCS National Champions (Auburn)

2006 BCS National Champions (Florida)

2003 BCS National Champions (LSU)

I'm sure a couple more that I don't remember at the moment...like if the Braves played the eventual Champion and I attended and don't recollect...or if LSU played Carolina in baseball when they won the CWS and I'm sure I went to at least one game in the series- just can't be sure.
