Cujo Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Outside of Notre Dame-Alabama, college bowl games are no better than the NFL Pro Bowl (which everyone wants to see cancelled). Some of these teams hit the field without suspended players. Others minus the coach who got them there. In this case 0-12 Southern Miss and any one of the following 1-11 teams that creates an "intriguing matchup" (Kansas, Colorado, Akron, New Mexico State or Idaho) and call it the Toilet Bowl. Second, no matter how cool it may be to see smaller schools make a huge run through the tournament, they're still going to lose in the end to schools like Duke/UNC/UConn, so what's so exciting? cshookemHORNS Posted December 30, 2012 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Just got back from the Alamo Bowl! Best. Game. Ever. Texas really sucked in the first half, but the second half was all Texas.
