andrewharrington
So this officially licensed adidas Nets shirt is for sale online:The NETS wordmark is clearly different (and vastly better IMO). For reference, here's the logo from the mothership:The above shirt was the original logo. They revised it to the actual logo, presumably so that the NETS text matched up better with the weight of the BROOKLYN text. joegalvan
when i see the B logo with the ball, i dont mind it that much.but the 'NETS' text within the shield bugs the hell out of me. the heavier font weight looks so much better, it doesnt make sense. Gothamite
I can't agree at all. I like the thinner wordmark, and not only because it better recreates the mid-century subway signs. The semi-arched letters look awful, and the weight is too heavy for my eye next to the thinner B on the ball. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. Soma
I posted this in the subject of traded player in their new jerseys; but the Nets released player t-shirts for sale on their website. The shirts for Deron Williams and Joe Johnson should end the speculation of what the numbers will look like on their jerseys.
Sapphire
I'm starting to think the unis will just be all black - no piping or stripes.Just "Brooklyn" with the the number underneath, and the backs will look like the t-shirts.Would be massively disappointed if that were the case. The description we got was that they're no plainer or fancier than Cleveland's uniforms. Lights Out
Well, hopefully the Nets don't look too much like the Celtics, being divisional rivals and all. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
Gothamite
Well, hopefully the Nets don't look too much like the Celtics, being divisional rivals and all.So long as the Celtics stick to their own color scheme, there won't be a problem. habsfan1
But will the Nets uniforms be anything more than just the Celtics uniforms colored in black?
Gothamite
Of course they will be. One has radial arching, the other vertical arching. They're nothing alike. Do you mind that the Cavs uniforms are "just the Celtics uniforms colored in wine and gold"? The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. The shirts for Deron Williams and Joe Johnson should end the speculation of what the numbers will look like on their jerseys. If they haven't unveiled the uniforms yet, I wouldn't assume that the player tees are using the same numerals that the jerseys use. These numerals are, after all, simply the same font as the wordmarks and B logo. goforbroke
Wow! I really like that. I hope it is real. Doubt this is real but....I know it's not real but that v design looks like an homage to the Harlem Rens uniforms. .. Just saw a great documentary called On the Shoulder of Giants about them. Brooklyn isn't Harlem but I actually think it would be a great idea to have a nice nod to honor the team that's largely forgotten in favor of the globetrotters.
