Still MIGHTY
Really, CS? Please. All I'm saying is that the Coyotes were awful, the Kings were dominant, and that as a Ducks fan, seeing the Kings be this good ing sucks. That's no worse than any of the Blackhawks or Canucks (or both) bitching that's gone on around here in recent years. And yeah, zawepaepfkdafdol, half price green fees and first dibs on the ball cleaner. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |

Trash.)As a Sharks fan in LA I've been trying to say that since I moved here.
NJTank
Just think when they play Game 3 the phonies will ask who is that team in black, I saw on the news the Kings had two jousting sticks where are they. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
LMU
Seeing as how Staples was sold out all season, I don't think the fans will have a problem differentiating teams, thank you.And our media is just awful with logos. You still see the mid 90s MB for the Brewers, the navy/red/gold Nuggets, etc. Hell, I was expecting them to still use the purple crown. Sport
The Kings remind me of the 2007 Colorado Rockies. They were a marginal team all season long and then figured it out just when things got important and turned into a freaking buzzsaw in the playoffs. Let's hope the layoff that they'll face once they sweep Phoenix and NY/NJ turns into a 7 game bloodbath doesn't hurt them the way the layoff between sweeping the Diamondbacks and meeting the Red Sox in the world series hurt that Rockies team. /sports parallel stretches

They were a marginal team all season long and then figured it out just when things got important and turned into a freaking buzzsaw in the playoffs. The big difference is that the Kings are only now with Jeff Carter doing what they should've done on paper and what was expected of them all along, whereas nobody has ever expected the Rockies to do anything but play out a schedule. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
NEW.ERA
Sutter held them back against Vancouver. A team that thrives on the other team making mistakes. He finally unleashed the offense that we knew was already there against St Louis, still well playing tremendous defense and is doing the exact same to the Coyotes.I can't compare these guys to any lower seed that made it to a Stanley Cup Final. It's too bad they already named the Jack Adams Candidates, because Darryl definitely deserves some love. knnhrvy16
Yeah, like I said before, this Kings team would probably sweep the '06 Oilers with ease. I mean, Edmonton had to grind a little on thier run - Los Angeles is just firing on all cylinders. I predicted a 4-2 series for the Kings, thinking (more like hoping) Phoenix's own run would slow 'em down a little bit. I'm thinking that's not going to happen. The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right. I mean, Edmonton had to grind a little on thier run - Los Angeles is just firing on all cylinders. While you're probably right about these Kings beating the '06 Oilers in a head-to-head series, it wouldn't be in a sweep. You can't discount the fact that Edmonton more than likely beats Carolina for the Stanley Cup if Dwayne Roloson doesn't go down in the Game 1 of the series. Without that injury happening, those Oilers are viewed in a much different way, as they would've been the first and only 8-seed to hoist the Cup. NEW.ERA
I can almost bet my life that Edmonton would have beaten Carolina had Roloson not gotten hurt. JETS|PACK|JAYS|NUFC|BAMA|BOMBERS|RAPS|ORANJE|
BigBubba
I was really rooting for the Oilers in that series, and it crushed me to see Roloson go down (I can't imagine how much that would hurt for an actual Oilers fan). I honestly believe without a doubt that they would've won the Cup if not for that injury. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. knnhrvy16
Very, very true. Those are great points. I still don't think it'd be very close though, at least at this point. Mike Smith's been great in net this playoffs too and the Kings are still winning, so as truly vital as Roloson was to Edmonton, I just humbly think this Kings team would've still gotten to him. I'll concede a 4-1, maybe a 4-2 series. The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. NEW.ERA
Gotta think though. Those Oilers had a clicking Horcoff, Smyth, Pisani, Torres, Pronger, and had gotten tremendous depth scoring. Not to mention the Rexall Goal Horn would have scared the Kings out of the building. JETS|PACK|JAYS|NUFC|BAMA|BOMBERS|RAPS|ORANJE|
