Well I just finished the game (had to leave midway through the 2nd for a final exam, DVR'ed it and turned phone off to avoid spoilers).

Boy did that sure suck.

Saving grace: I had tickets to tonights game not knowing the date it'd be played. Because I'm still in San Diego I couldn't make it obviously, so I swapped them for game 3 in Newark (lucky me that it was the Devils). Con though, I have to wake up at 3:30 to fly to Newark.

You're not imagining it; posts were moved elsewhere. Please carry on without "our fans are better than your fanzzz" nonsense. Thanks.

I'm on the anyone but New York wagon. I don't even care if it's Phoenix, as long as those huns lose I'm happy.

"Huns"?

Are you a closet Galsgow Celtic fan?

Actually yes. My entire Dad's side of my family has supported Celtic forever (one of my relatives in Scotland has been a season ticket holder for over 40 years too) My Dad has also hated on the NY Rangers long before '94 (that just added more fuel to the fire.) and has always called them the huns, I was raised hating on em so I'll carry it on.

That's cool. I only asked because I know Celtic fans use the term "Huns" to refer to Glasgow Rangers. I'd never heard it used outside of the Old Firm.

Weren't Dave Strader and Darren Pang the Coyotes' broadcasting team for a few years? I had read people complaining of a pro-Coyote bias from the broadcast, but I hadn't been watching the games till putting it on just now. That would explain it.

Yep. Pang left in 2009 for St. Louis, Strader left just this last year. I almost think that's why they paired them. Familiarity with each other and the teams involved.

So Dustin Brown flops and draws a penalty but Doughty literally tackles Doan like Ray Lewis and then proceeds to push the back of Doans head and yet they both get called... Which is the house team again? What a joke

Doughty with the perfect form tackle. I don't know what he's doing playing hockey instead of football! Some football players would do well to imitate his awesome tackle lol.

Wha! Wha! Wha! Just admit it, your team is getting its butts kicked by a better team.

You guys all realize the league is just setting up THE DRAMATIC STORYBOOK 4 GAME COMEBACK FROM THE TEAM THAT REFUSED TO DIE.

Disney has the film rights already.

My team got its butt kicked game 1 and 2 no doubt. But this game was a much closer and hard fought one. You can reduce what I said to crying all you want but I think I am pretty good at looking objectively (most of the time) even when its my team playing. There were blown or bad calls for both sides but you can't tell me that tackle is a clean play.

After Smith shoving Jonathan Toews somehow leading to an interference call, Smith pirouetting to draw a garbage penalty on Andrew Shaw and the league having to step in and overrule the refs' no-call on Torres' filthy hit, Coyotes fans, all twenty of them, have no room whatsoever to complain about the refs. The league has been helping you guys off the ice and for a good portion of the playoffs it's looked like they've been helping you on-ice too.

Also, Dustin Brown flopped? Dude, have you ever been hit in the back of the knees with a hockey stick?
