Kevin W.
They have worn white shorts far more often than blue throughout their history, though. Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions) King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)
evanmaldonado
And I've always hated them. I just thought the blue shorts were miles ahead of the whites. What can ya do though
gdu
Rumored new Man City kit: I like it!I like it, but it just doesn't look anywhere near as good as the 11/12 kit. The white pants look horrible compared to the blue they Wear now. Come on City!Strongly disagree. The white is a much better look. I'm sure they'll have a sky blue option when the other team is in white shorts.I think this is the best they've ever looked:

Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. Kevin W.
So it's a second white kit? I don't really care about the difference in white v. blue shorts, but the black accents are terrible. Especially the black at the top of the sock compared to this years beautiful white and blue hooped socks
MJWalker45
For the Manchester Derby they usually both wear white shorts if they are the primary that year. Newcastle has black shorts but for some reason refuse to wear them with that orange shirt.

The FA Cup has, I think the Champions League does as well. 2011/12 WFL Champions
Kevin W.
Doesn't the Champions League require non-clashing socks as well as shorts? thefridge15
The rule against clashing socks makes more sense than a clashing shorts rule though. Referees have it tough enough as it is with tackles in the box and whatnot, doesn't make it any easier when the two players have the same sock color. So not really a bad look IMO.I think I'm indefinitely the minority here, but I'm kinda digging th new barca kits...
