I'm pretty sure we had this thread not too long ago, but in case I'm mistaken:

Clippers

Dodgers

Steelers

Royals

Ravens

Islanders

And not just subtle/simple modifications. They all need complete rebrands badly.

As a 40+ year Bills fan I hate the Miami Dolphins more than any other team, including New England and the J-E-T-S

But ... I gotta say I've always liked their colors since we got our 1st color TV set. That is a brand that should not be tampered with, only tweaked slightly.

I always liked the logo when the sunburst had the rays on them. The got rid of them in 1997. I miss their shadow numbers from the 90s too, when the Buffalo-Miami rivalry was at its finest.

If anyone in the division should change, I wish the Jets would bring back the logo when it was pointed rather than the oval-shape of 1998 and mounted on the helmet on a near 45° angle like it used to be late 60s early 70s

Redskins .... as I've said many times, the uniform and logo from 2002 for their 70th anniversary was about my favorite ever throwback. The facemask looked so good in gray. The plum-claret color looked so ritzy with the gray mask ... IMO

The Dodgers and Steelers, two of the all time classic uniform/logo combos on Earth, need a rebrand?

Why, pray tell, do the Steelers and Dodgers need complete rebrands?

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

NFL

Steelers (block numbers on jerseys)

Bengals (complete rebrand but keep the helmet)

Vikings (start over)

Cardinals (go back to their St Louis look)

Browns (orange pants and striped socks for all sets)

Dolphins (bring back the striped sleeves)

Jaguars (start over)

Chargers (go back the the 90's era look)

Chiefs (returns the TV numbers to the sleeves)

Eagels (Cunningham or Herm Edwards era uniforms, PLEASE)

Saints (make throwbacks their primaries)

MLB

Marlins (decrease the size of the "M" logo and tweak the uniforms)

Padres (start over with new unique colors - not the token navy)

Indians (stick with script or block lettering - not both)

Nationals (same as the Indians)

Rays (go back to the green uniforms/cap)

Bengals should go back to either the 80s look or the late 90s/early 2000s look.

Every other change in that list is spot on.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

NBA

ATL: I'd love to see the hawks return to either Green/Blue or Red/Yellow/Black color scheme, there are just so many RGB teams and they seem like one that could easily drop it.

CLE: With the new identity a few years back came a bunch of brand inconsistency. I wish they'd drop the recolored Lebron era primary and come up with a new primary that incorporates the simplified script.

DAL: This logo is starting to feel dated for me, it could be simplified a bit, or just scrapped and start from scratch.

DEN: This is another identity that I think is showing its age, I'd love to see an identity built around their pick axe logo and focus more on the navy blue than the sky blue.

HOU: I'd love to see the athletic gold return to the color scheme.

LAC: Time to stop ripping off big brother and include some sort of clipper imagery in your logo.

OKC: Time to start from scratch

PHX: Another dated logo, it's just so busy. I'd build something off this.

POR: Just a slight update could go a long way for them, maybe update the wordmark.

Well since half the people here are talking about updating the Dolphins, here are my 2 cents:

-Lighten the Aqua to a previous shade. (Because the new uniforms will make the aqua less shiny and make it look to green.)

-Slightly lighten the navy. (To go with the aqua.)

-Consistent striping [look at sig for example]. (I hate that there striping pattern on white is inconsistent with the striping pattern on aqua and orange.)

-Make the stripes on the sleeves more prominent.

-Remove the excessive white from the dolphin. (It makes it look like a clown.)

-Reduce the presence of navy, but don't remove it altogether. (Just to differentiate themselves from the local (more recognizable) college team.

-??????????

-PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!

Here is before and after, logowise:

Wow, I disagree with pretty much everything listed here. Shows how opinions can range from person to person.

As a diehard Vikings fan, I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want any changes to the Vikings Norseman logo. That logo is a classic and doesn't need any kind of updating. I'm guessing most other Vikings fans would agree with me.

The uniforms ... that's another thing. Just make sure you keep the horned helmets. There was worry about getting rid of the horns when the Vikes updated the uniforms not so long ago. The horned helmets and the Norseman logo are sacred to Vikings fans.
