2013 NFL uniform/logo changes

Wasn't there talk of the Nike logo being moved to the chest area, like for college teams? Was that next season?

Had hopes the Seahawks would tweak their white and grey pant stripes along with their white jersey shoulders to mirror their blue uniforms incorporating the lime green to balance the overall look. Also would have been nice if they would "darken" the grey pants a smig..........Can anyone photoshop ??????

This (non-existent) uniform would put the 'Hawks in the middle of the NFL pack, uniform-wise. Somewhere between, say 14 or 15 and maybe 20. As is, their look is bottom 5, at best. It's so strange that the gray pants have no green or white in them... obviously a very intentional choice, but beyond me why it was made. The Seahawks need to have their navy pants forcibly removed from them. They've proved throughout this whole century that they don't understand the purpose of dark pants in the NFL and obviously can't be trusted with them as an option.

Giving Seattle a dark pants option is like handing my 5 year old scissors. Nothing good will come from it.

That's a shame they haven't discussed that though. The Nike logo is so much more noticeable on the chest, and the Steelers sleeve stripe problem could be fixed if the swoosh is moved to the chest.

Here's an official list of all of the changes for 2013 (according to the NFL):

• Baltimore: uniform collar modifications to all three jerseys.
  
• Buffalo: uniform collar modifications to both jerseys.
  
• Carolina: some minor thread and alternate textile changes. (No one will notice; actual colors aren't changing.)
  
• Dallas: Provided a non-keyline version of their primary mark for usage on light backgrounds.
  
• Denver: uniform collar modifications to all three jerseys.
  
• Jacksonville: redesigned logos, uniforms. Additional Light Gold color.
  
• Miami: redesigned logos, uniforms. All new colors.
  
• Minnesota: modified primary mark, redesigned uniforms. Modified Gold color.
  
• New England: new primary mark with logotype, new logotype. (Wordmark changes.)
  
• New York Giants: minor Dark Blue thread modification. New White pants.
  
• San Diego: alternate Powder Blue threads modifications, uniform collar modifications to all three jerseys, nameplate modifications, stripe added to socks.
  
• St. Louis: Gold used in "Classic" uniforms modified (Pantone, Pantone Textile, threads, etc.)
  
• Tampa Bay: uniform collar modifications to both jerseys, Red used in "Classic" uniforms modified (Pantone, Pantone Textile, threads, etc.)
  
• Tennessee: minor Titans Blue thread modifications, minor White thread modifications, Red Pantone Textile modification.
  
• Washington: uniform collar modifications to White jerseys.
  

So does this mean the Steelers will be wearing those prison uniforms and the Redskins will wearing their gorgeous alternate again? Also, I thought the Browns were getting rid of that "AL" patch on their left sleeve. Could've sworn I read that somewhere on here.

I really wish the 'Hawks would move their wordmark. I know their uniform gets blasted on here, but the wordmark's location is the only thing that bothers me.

That's a shame they haven't discussed that though. The Nike logo is so much more noticeable on the chest, and the Steelers sleeve stripe problem could be fixed if the swoosh is moved to the chest.

And that is the soul reason why the NFL won't allow it, they don't want the manufacturer's mark to take any attention away from the NFL shield on the collar

Those jags uniforms don't look half bad on that video but those helmets completely destroy the set. All they need is a matte black or their original lid and they would be a really good set. I think if Jacksonville actually had a huge fan base they could pressure them into changing but seeing as they have a quarter of their stadium tarped I think we all will have to suffer for at least 5-6 years until they go black and gold chrome

I think it looks hideous. When your regular pants look good, you don't need alternates.

Jacksonville was 20th in attendance last year. So 12 teams had less fans per game then they did. Thats a 2-14 team too. The reason they have tarps is because the stadium was built to host the FL/GA game every year and there is not enough population to fill all the seats. The stadium capacity would be in the top 3rd of the league in the 2nd smallest market. The Jaguars haven't had a blackout since 2009 but nice try. Tarps will have zero to do with the helmets.

I don't really like the Giants pants. Either stick with the gray pants (preferably) or go with white full-time (and ditch the gray stripe/facemask.) I don't think there's any need to have two light colored pants like that. I think the Seahawks and Panthers would bebetter without their white pants as well.
