Is this the new Pats wordmark? It's the same used on their site. Just thought it was one of those "one off" designs.

Had hopes the Seahawks would tweak their white and grey pant stripes along with their white jersey shoulders to mirror their blue uniforms incorporating the lime green to balance the overall look. Also would have been nice if they would "darken" the grey pants a smig..........Can anyone photoshop ??????

I don't think the grey needs darkening any.

That's such a bad wordmark. It would be bland but passable otherwise, but those horns on the A and T are so inexplicable and horrendous that they bump it down to failure.

its not inexplicable. they fill space between the letters and help form the arc the wordmark is "sitting" on. its such an improvement in legibility, quality (previous mark was amateur with warped primary logo) and appropriateness (previous mark was more of a baseball script) it is far from a failure. you may not like it, but its not a bad mark by any means.

This (non-existent) uniform would put the 'Hawks in the middle of the NFL pack, uniform-wise. Somewhere between, say 14 or 15 and maybe 20. As is, their look is bottom 5, at best. It's so strange that the gray pants have no green or white in them... obviously a very intentional choice, but beyond me why it was made. The Seahawks need to have their navy pants forcibly removed from them. They've proved throughout this whole century that they don't understand the purpose of dark pants in the NFL and obviously can't be trusted with them as an option.

Giving Seattle a dark pants option is like handing my 5 year old scissors. Nothing good will come from it.

Also change the silver stripe on the Seahawk decal to green. There needs to be more green on the helmet IMO.

I'd actually suggest going the other way. Remove the green outline from the numerals and leave the pants as they are now. Love the sparse use of the neon green (seen on their previous set). The outline around the numerals is too much/weak.

I don't see this anywhere on that list, not that I expected to:

  • Cincinnati: elimination of white side panels on black jersey and orange jersey.

Great idea for the Jaguars to advertise an in-home experience…

The game is played in your house, and you pay to go to the stadium to watch RedZone on the Jumbotron. Football!
