Lights Out
The MLB Network has a new ticker today that appears to be inspired by ESPN's current BottomLine. Weirdly, none of the other graphics have changed. The NHL Network (which is run out of the same facilities in Secaucus) still has the previous ticker design. ChiCity95
And the NBC RSNs remain unchanged for 2022 MLB season. They're really trying to become MASN 2.0 here with the graphics... I take that back. The score bug has been changed for the 2022 MLB season.
ChiCity95
And here's what it looks like:
dmmdoublem
NBC's baseball package was starting to get a bit stale, but the new score bug feels like a bit of a downgrade. The batter and pitcher names are absolutely miniscule.
YELDARBfield
Lowkey love the Apple TV+ baseball graphics, even if they are aggressively simple and Apple-like: (Pardon the UI shadow on the second shot.) I do wish they had placed the base diagram between the teams and put their logo in the top-right corner or something. And I didn't get a shot of it, but there's always a plain white text stat, usually live "Reach Base Probability," in the lower-right. 4 Quote Twitter • Facebook • Instagram • LinkedIn • Tumblr
TheRealPepman
New Jays on SN: I would have loved to see the previous score bug on other sports but it is what it is.
Old School Fool
When Fox got the NFL in 1994 they would do this weird thing where they inserted the Fox logo into the city name of Foxboro. Really weird. 4 1 4 1
RyanMcD29
I know at this juncture it's a broken record, but no, NBC does not have new graphics for the start of their NASCAR coverage for the season Quote Twitter: @RyanMcD29

TheBigFiz21
Merely speculation talk, but it'll be interesting to see what Fox does with their next graphics package for the NFL and subsequently college football. I'm almost certain the logos will change for both, likely recoloring this, for example... ...to a modern version of the red/white/blue color scheme from the 90s logo (see the Fox-boro post above). USFL, MLB, and college hoops have logos all on a white background, save the exceptions made for special events like the MLB postseason. All of the Summerall-Madden seasons and the 1st year of the Joe Buck era had the red white and blue color scheme. It would be intresting to see the NFL on FOX go back to that color scheme in the 1st year of the Burkhardt era. ~Bear
Amazon Prime released their graphics packages for Thursday Night Football. I’m personally a fan of the package for “smaller screens:” 5
RyanMcD29
Has a feel of something NBC would come out, in a good way. Based on the shots from that article it looks like a pretty good graphics package 2 Quote Twitter: @RyanMcD29

Old School Fool
NBA 2K23 introduced a new mode in it where you can go back in time and play out 80 years starting from either 1983, 1991 or 2002. It's crazy stuff, they got everything in there a logo/uniform die hard could want it seems. With those eras comes graphics packages and they did a great job with that one. The NBC and ESPN ones got me hyped. They don't have the licenses to the networks but they can use the general designs. The game isnt out yet but it all seems to be pretty good detail wise. 11

That's almost 1 for 1 the old ESPN scorebug from the 2000s. Impressed with the detail.
