I wonder if he hung out with Brent Gretzky as well. The best part is that "Brent" didn't even wear this style, its what they wore last year when they won the championship. Also, they even confirm that fact with an actual pic of "Brent" in the auction. Jenious.

WHY BUY HERE?

BECAUSE THE JERSEY IS REAL, NOT A ASIAN KNOCK OFF

Well, that's convincing

More lulz from that page:

Accepted forms of payment are:

PAYPAL.

FAKE & REAL NHL JERSEYS.....HOW CAN I TELL THE DIFFERENCE?

BUYING TIPS

1. When deciding to purchase a NHL jersey, be aware of the price. If it’s too good to be true, then it’s probably a fake. If someone, or a website, is selling a NHL jersey with a sewn player name and number kit for $50-$100, it’s a fake.

2. Reebok does not liquidate authentic jerseys due to overproduction or any other reason. This is important as many illegal vendors will use this as an excuse for the really low price. Illegal vendors may also claim they know someone at Reebok.

3. The Internet is full of fake jerseys. Beware when shopping auction and classified sites such as eBay, Craig’s List, Lespac, and Announce123.

4. Several sites sell fake NHL jerseys directly from China. All authentic EDGE NHL jerseys are made at Reebok’s Saint-Hyacinthe factory, so any jersey which is being delivered by “international shipping” is 100% fake. If the site payment method is Pay Pal, it’s probably not legitimate.

Wow.

I can't find the "Ridiculous Fakes on Ebay" thread, but this is close enough.

Game-worn Terrell Owens 49ers jersey!

$(KGrHqVHJBEE8+gQM(39BPU+gD,M6g~~60_58.JPG

while not game worn it looks like a legit fashion jersey

With real dirt on it too.

Yeah, the guy probably just went outside and stomped on it to make it "look" game worn.

He wore it for his own flag football game. It never says Owens wore it in a game, just game worn Owens jersey. The sucker who bought it :winner:

Got a good example of this seller's "tactics"

I emailed them about this jersey:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/PATRICK-KANE-LONDON-KNIGHTS-REEBOK-JERSEY-BLACKHAWKS-/270925534739?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&var=&hash=item3f146b9613

They have some London Knights jerseys available, all of which look a little "off" when it comes to the name/numbers. For starters, Pat Kane never wore that jersey in London, and second of all, the coloring is way off. People do like getting older players on new jerseys, but usually do it through the Knights team shop. Their email response was that they do all lettering in house. So im assuming they cut their own tackle twill numbers and letters to the best of their ability, and sew them on.

Here is some others that are a little off

http://www.ebay.com/itm/JOHN-TAVARES-LONDON-KNIGHTS-RBK-JERSEY-ISLANDERS-/270925526667?pt=U_Hockey_Fan_Shop&var=&hash=item3f146b768b

if you look closely, the 6 just looks like a photoshopped upside down 9.

Again, the 9 / 6 is off... the hole in the number is too small.

Just thought id throw in another example considering its the same seller.

Here's more from this seller.

The numbers are a dead giveaway, they are supposed to have a dropshadow, not a regular outline.

This is just low. Taking money from Reebok is bad, but taking money from cancer research is even worse.

this one is definitely wrong, the captain's C is awful and all the cresting seems put on at the wrong angle. the size tag is also wrong

Fight straps were not required until the year after the Avs won the Cup that year.

Has anybody here ever ordered an mlb jersey from Ambratrade.com. I ordered the Miami Marlins jerseys and the blue Jays jerseys last week on that site. Haven't received them yet. Does anyone know if it's a legit site or not?

If you have to ask, it's not legit.
