At least you guys are keeping Mockba busy.

Getzlaf started the fight with Roussel (who I don't like), so please stop acting like Anaheim is a bunch of choir boys.

You do know Roussel's only purpose in this entire league is to get under the skin of opposing players? I never said the Ducks are choir boys, but you can't deny the fact that Roussel and Garbutt are worthless POS's.

What's weird, I'm more disappointed with the Blue Jackets loss than I am the Avalanche.

The Avs loss, while frustrating, was one you could see coming. I was surprised they were able to force OT. They were out played the entire game. The only reason they didn't lose 5-0 was because Varly was incredible, and Minnesota had a couple bad bounces that should have been goals.

I think Garbutt is a hell of a player.

Oh, that's rich. (Sliding into Robidas was an accident. Nothing else he did was.)

And Getzlaf started the fight with Roussel? Agree to disagree there, I guess.

And to your earlier post, yes I did watch the game. And if you're disagreeing with my thought the Ducks controlled the majority of the game, the standard stats (SOG, etc.) and moreover the advanced stats would bear that out. Or if you're disagreeing with my thought the Stars were playing a little dirty, then I guess chalk it up to Stars eyes vs Ducks eyes, because I saw a lot of garbage going down. Are the Ducks choir boys? No, but I think the Stars (as the team that's down looking for a spark, looking to frustrate Anaheim) were the instigators more often than not.

BRB, laying the trackwork to invalidate opponent's success in case the team I like loses.

Let's see, something-something the Blues are....dirty? Yeah, that's it! Those hits on Brookbank and Keith tonight were cheap hits, man, CHEAP! Oh crap, I forgot about Seabrook's hit on Backes. Uh...where can I go from here? Let's go with...go with their uniforms! The Blues jerseys are terrible! Look at those awful, ugly, overdesigned turds. Haha, yeahhh! Okay, I think that will get under their skin for sure, especially on here.

Wait - I'm the "Playoff Hockey Meltdown Guy." They're totally going to call me on this and I'm gonna have no defense...I'd better White Knight.

But what a great series between these two teams so far! Blues are proving to be a tough, rowdy opponent and their fan base is proving to be really high class.

God, that felt awful to say. I hate those bastards, all of them. Time to diffuse and really lay the mayonnaise on thick.

What an NHL Playoffs this has been so far, eh? The Blue Jackets looked great in their win over Pittsburgh, what a gritty win for those rugged...

Oh CRAP they lost...quickly, throw in a JK before this kind of creepy contingency of grassroots faux-novelty-bandwagoners rises up, hurry!

...Rugged....jerk Penguins who practically cheated their way to a win?....

*sigh* You blew it. They think you're an assbag all over again. This didn't work out. Might as well go out with a bang. Think of something...something powerful and clever, maybe coy? Really express your intelligence here so the last thing they read is Screw the St. Louis Cardinals! Oh sweet Jesus.

Ohio gonna Ohio.

:censored: off, :censored:. No matter how hard you try, you'll always be a Poor Man's Hedley.

Anyways, absolutely devastated right now. Trying to stay optimistic though, keeping the faith. I think this thing's far from over and long-term it's gonna be good for this team.

Going into this series, I would have gladly taken where the Jackets are at this point. They've been in every game, they got up off the mats after what could have been a devastating loss, and they came back from a two goal deficit to win a road playoff game. To be honest, this team has already exceeded my expectations for this series. They'll bounce back.

Go Jackets. See ya Wednesday.

This whole 3-1 lead loses the game thing is ridiculous and frustrating and it’s now 2 games the Blue Jackets have blown. They could be leading this series.

For as much as that sucked last night I woke up today feeling pretty good. I have a ticket to game 4 and I’m still very excited and now I’ll get to see the first home playoff win in franchise history. The crowd last night was unbelievable and I think the Penguins weren’t expecting that after the usual ‘guins heavy crowds in Nationwide arena. Keeping ticket sales to Ohio credit cards actually worked.

Blue Jackets have to do a better job of clearing the shooting lanes for Bobrovsky. Almost half of Pittsburgh’s goals in this series have been of the seeing eye dumb deflection variety. That’s standard Pittsburgh sports luck (the winning goal was four feet wide and bounced in off of Wisniewiski’s thigh), but it’s also not really an accident. They’ve been doing a good job of screening Bob and our defenseman have done a poor job of giving him a clear angle of the shots.

Also, the Jackets’ inexperience is really showing with how they handle these in-game momentum swings. Three goals in 2:30 shouldn’t happen. And giving up a goal with 1.8 seconds left in the period shouldn't happen. They have to be better along the boards in their breakout.

And another thing, the Blue Jackets did a good job last night at shutting down the power play. I though the officiating was suspect especially the Nick Foligno penalty for spraying snow on the goalie. I have seen far far far worse examples that start huge scrums go uncalled. All of those first period penalties killed the Blue Jackets' momentum.

Game 3 at Staples tonight will be a fun experiment. The Sharks haven't done well on Figueroa at all this season and even though Nieto's play has been a wonderful surprise, I'm skeptical this new found center depth the Sharks usually don't have can outlast the physicality the Kings usually bring. I know the team can lay into Quick for multiple goals, that's not an issue. I want to see how they come back after a tough loss, like the infuriating one in Game 2 last year, I believe it was, when Niemi gave up two late goals, one of which was that ridiculously well-placed deflection off the pads.

As a Wild fan, I think it's a shame that they've managed to derp their way into the playoffs the last two years. They have just enough talent to be a middle-of-the-pack NHL team regardless of how weak-minded they are.

It's particularly too bad this year as Matt Cooke, who is a scumbag, was able to take a player out for 4-6 weeks just to be an :censored: (which thankfully is probably only a round).

I should be happy about last night's win; any Wild fan knows that it was totally the type of game they were being set up to lose. But the whole thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Now someone from Colorado probably needs to take Parise out. And if that happens, well that's what they get for signing Cooke.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

I can't stand Cooke honestly, and I said something last night about him playing another game against Colorado just so McCloud to dish out some equal justice, but I really don't believe Roy would have any of his players take out someone from Minnesota, nor would he tolerate it.

I may be seeing this from a skewed perspective, but it seemed to me like the Wild were going out of their way to try and hurt Avalanche players last night.

They were definitely playing more physical, (which they need to do to neutralize Colorado's speed) but, with the exception of Cooke, I didn't see any intent to cause injuries.
