upperV03
Screen grab of Oregon's new silver helmet. Here's a screen grab of the new yellow helmet as well. Not a great picture, but at the very least you can see that there is a silver/chrome face mask and no wings.

MJWalker45
I'd be surprised if Iowa permanently ditched their current set. They could keep the blackouts as an alternate with a gold or white version as well. Â Â

I wish NDSU would get rid of the gold side panels. I do like the gold helmet too I am sore, wounded, but not slainI will lay down and bleed a whileAnd then rise up to fight again
Clintau24
Where people liked Miami in the eyebrows template, I think the gold side panels work well with NDSU for whatever reason. "I believe in Auburn and love it!" Â
Geoff
A thin white outline on the silver wordmark and numbers would make Montana perfect. Athletic Director: KTU Blue Grassers Football

Oregon will typically wear the helmets they intend to wear for games a couple times throughout fall camp to break them in and get the fit right. Also, Oregon uses different jerseys, not helmets, to differentiate their units: white and green for offense and defense, red for non-contact, and scout team jerseys that are the main color of their upcoming opponent. Their normal practice helmets are the plain green shells.
