I'm a traditionalist and not a fan of pullovers and elastic waistbands, but those are gorgeous.  It looks like they may have done a good job of not wearing them too baggy and not having the neck of the jersey hanging way too low.

That being said, some of those players need some lessons in pants length from that era.  I don't think any players wore their pants that high in those days.  The J.R. Richard photo below is representative of the era..  And the pajamas shouldn't be permitted at all when throwing back.  Surely a player can stand to look good for an occasional game now and then.

That one's a little different, it's basically the Cooperstown model (wool with grey underbrim) without the NE flag. The on-field will be polyester with a black underbrim. Mickey's is awesome though, tons of great throwback hats from every era!

They used to be a LOT better. All of the CC caps they sell now are Chinese made garbage. It's really disappointing.

Still Chinese made trash. Wool, too.

Speaking of the Astros rainbow look, I picked up a pair of this year's Home Run Derby socks to pair with my Rainbow Guts baseball pants for softball this season. They're awesome.

That wordmark looks to be slightly smaller than the 90s jerseys.  The break on the buttons looks to be about the same, but everything else just seems shrunken.  That hat is a must have, though.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

I hope those socks come back to MLB shop.  I waited too long.

So let me get this straight... all season long the Marlins are wearing that beautiful colorful All Star Game patch on the side of their caps to promote said All Star Game... but when the game actually happens the patch on the side of all the players caps is gonna be a dulled down gold and black version of the patch????

Reminds me of when the Padres last year wore a one year home jersey to commemorate the ASG and when the game came they didn't even get to wear that jersey because they were on the road team.

It can't really be that hard to have some logic and foresight with this stuff can it?

The newer identity is a 2000's Mets wanna-be with bad fonts and logos

As a Marlins fan I must say this line offends me. Of all the things I've heard to describe the Marlins current look this one just seems so odd and I don't agree with it.

Ok so wait a minute... forgive me for trying to make sense of this but why is there 3 hr derby caps per team? I mean I know it's to make money because let's be honest these look pretty cool but when the Derby comes, which cap will the players be wearing? Will they have a choice? Will there be a mix of colors or will they have to make a uniform decision per league? Man this is confusing. With that said, some of these are pretty gorgeous. I only included 2 teams in this pic because i think to appreciate if you have to see the teams 3 caps together...

The Mets are the orange and blue team, then they added black in the late 90's.. The Marlins were the teal team (with black as a secondary), then a few years after the Mets went black, the Marlins had to out-black the Mets by going super black-heavy.. Now they've completely ditched their unique color of teal to be the other orange and blue team in the NL East, although still black-heavy, they've dumped their classic, iconic look (with a couple world championships associated with it), for this ridiculous, ugly, art-deco wannabe look with horrible logos and worse fonts.. The gaudy M with the awkwardly placed, poorly rendered, stylized Marlin silhouette thing is one of the worst logos in the Majors..
