It appears to be the same font. You'd think Nike would give them a different font since they're in the same conference as LSU.

It's just a standard block font formatted to be more narrow. I don't think it needs to be different from LSU. Ole Miss looks good tonight, though th navy blue pants wouldn't be my first choice.

Maybe if it was a custom font, but it is just a block font. They prob both had the same font before the jersey change. Besides, looks like Ole Miss is just wearing a Nike Team uniform anyways with those awful pants.

Whiteouts/blackouts/choose-your-colorouts have run their course in college football (except at Penn State, I guess). I'd rather see Fresno State wear normal home uniforms than giving in to the whiteout gimmick.

I don't have a picture, but when I was watching the Vandy, Ole Miss game I noticed the Vandy helmets had what looked like Gold flake in the black. Is that new this year or did they have that last year? I just noticed it.

I don't think it's fair to call it a lack of attention to detail. That makes it seem like a mistake or something, and it definitely isn't a mistake, it's a deliberate design choice. A weird one, I'll give you, but not unheard of. Like UCLA having no light blue on their helmet, or the NY Giants having no blue on their road jersey, it's a deliberate nod to an older design aesthetic... which is obvious when you realize they also have a white jersey with all red details. You can certainly dislike the choice, but they didn't just "accidentally" forget the red.

Actually, that weird little detail (no red on the navy jersey, no blue on the white jersey) is something I've always liked about Ole Miss' classic uniform (I'm a big fan of the Giants' uniform, too) but it's totally destroyed by those stupid navy pants with the ridiculous lettering down the side. Bleeh.

Not sure if this has been talked about, but there's a picture going around of a gray uniform that VT is supposedly wearing against Bama. Can't post the pic from my phone, but it is atrocious. Looks like a Russell knock-off from Nike, so fingers crossed real hard they're fake. Otherwise the game will be completely unwatchable for me.
