Sure, it may not have brown, but it's still perfect for the Padres. The blue makes me think of ocean waves, the yellow makes me think of the bright rays of the sun.... Yellow/gold is awesome as an accent color on baseball uniforms when paired with a dark color. The A's and Pirates are looking awesome and I'm sure the Friars will end up looking very good. It sounds completely ridiculous, and would somehow make their identity an even bigger mess, but that's kind of what the Padres do.OR, even more Padres like, they decide to adopt powder blue and gold for a great looking set and to tie in with the Chargers... TheOldRoman Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Wait a minute... the Astros bought orange batting helmets for throwbacks they're wearing once, but they can't 1) buy an orange set (or change out the decals) to wear orange helmets with their current alternate hat; or 2) buy a set of helmets which match the road cap they wear 81 times a year?Their road cap is really bad, anyway.
