The BigTen is absolutely irrelevant. There may not be any ranked teams by year's end. MSU's loss may not have been as close as the score indicates, so they are probably top 25 but that may be it. Iowa dodged a bullet. Nebraska dodged a bullet. Wisconsin looked awful. Minnesota, possibly the best team in the west, may have lost its QB for the year (and let Midd Tenn State back in). No wins of significance yet. OSU really seems to miss Braxton Miller (though tons of credit to VT's defense). The conference is eliminated from National Title contention.

The B1G is ALWAYS overrated.

So's half the SEC. How long are we going to pretend South Carolina is good again?

Yeah but the top half of the SEC kinda makes up for it.

Yeah, why was Washington ranked? They've beaten Hawaii and Eastern Washington by a combined 8 points, and gave up 52 today. I'll be surprised if they make a bowl game knowing how deep the PAC-12 is this year.

EDIT: Oh my Stanford.

Eastern Washington's loss made me sad.

I was so excited that Nebraska just scored the game winning touchdown against McNeese State. But then I realized they had to score a game winning touchdown to beat McNeese state. It's one of the weirdest feelings ever when you're jumping up and down in excitement while you're disappointed.

Nebraska's LUCKY game-winning run made me sad.

I'm compiling lists of school leaderboards at the most notable stats. So far it's mostly SEC schools

But I've added a couple Big 12 schools too.

I would like to eventually have all 129 FBS schools have pages like this up there, but that's going to take a very long time to compile. I have built an Excel spreadsheet to convert tables of the stats leaders into Wikipedia code to make the tables, so there's some time saved there (although it still takes some time to make sure all the links point to the correct person).

If anyone would like to pitch in in the actual compiling of the leaders from the schools' media guides, I have been working from a public Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wbn_QB1CmJpOCxUloBOObMmQaXiOS4WpXpjS8HMJqsA/edit?usp=sharing

If anyone wants to pitch in, it would be greatly appreciated, and the whole world would get to have one of these references for your favorite team. Compiling a single school can be done in about 15-20 minutes, so if lots of people pitch in, the major conferences could be done and up on Wikipedia in a few days.

Either way, I hope you enjoy having these resources. I'm primarily a Mississippi State fan, and I've already been referring back to the MSU page several times since the season started to check progress of current players.

Breaking News: NCAA has lifted post-season ban on Penn State effective immediately.

Edit: Here's the link

http://www.ncaa.org/about/resources/media-center/news/executive-committee-restores-penn-state-football-postseason-scholarships

And they're getting all of their scholarships back for next season. The way the NCAA has handled this is a joke.

I guess the overwhelming belief that the important thing is for PSU to remain a top-notch program prevailed.

Aside from the downfall of The Enabler, everything's the same at Penn State.

An institution that tries to cover up child molesters. Get punished for it and get it lifted by the power that be because obviously their thinking.... I dunno what they hell their thinking.

The sanctions were wrong because it punished former, current, and future players that had nothing to do with the scandal.

Isn't that what most sanctions do?
