Yikes. Stamkos will miss probably the playoff with a blood clot in his arm. There will more then likely be another team to come out of the east.

Bruins on the outside looking in at this Eastern Conference playoff race. Considering they're playing with their backs against the wall and against Chicago today, I don't like their chances going forward. That's what they get for littering their lineup with "hockey players" like Jimmy Hayes. The "HE'S FROM CHAHLESTON SO HE MUST BE FAHKIN GOOD" mentality is gross. There's no way they'd make a run this year, but a playoff series would do wonders for the development of guys like Ryan Spooner, David Pastrnak (who would have been traded at the deadline for Ben Eager if Peter Chiarelli were still in town), Colin Miller, and that young upstart Zdeno Chara.

 

Also, seriously; how in the :censored: did Brett Connolly go 6th overall in 2010? Was there nobody else available at the time? Tampa Bay's ability to draft in the first round is atrocious. Same with Colorado. (Who the :censored: is "Duncan Siemens?")
