The caps for the Home Run Derpy and All-Star BP feature a new, more lightweight and breathable fabric. aawagner011 Posted April 11, 2017 Share Posted April 11, 2017 They've done this for a few years now, but why do the Braves get stuck with a headspoon and sleeve trim that they don't actually wear on any of their normal uniforms? From what I can tell (unless I'm missing a team), everyone else gets treated like their normal uniforms. Normal home and road sets have the blue/red/blue headspoon and trim. Blue alternate doesn't have any trim. Cream alternate has only a navy blue headspoon. Not to mention they only have one jersey without a tomahawk (cream alternate and the script is much larger than these above), but that's another argument. Bad set of uniforms. I'm not necessarily opposed to them using a darker gray, in fact I like the idea of them doing it, but I think that is too dark. You can barely see anything. So likely traveling on Sunday or Monday. Love the Mother's, Fathers, and All Star stuff, these are fun for one day events. The rest of it is inoffensive enough for my tastes as well. At least it's better than last year.
