FGM13
Joe Blanton has actually had a great year out of the 'pen! ...but yeah, it's so Blanton to give up a go-ahead grand slam in the NLCS even when he has a career year. I suspect that most neutral fans (i.e., those who are not fans of Cleveland, Toronto, or LA) are pulling for the Cubs...not just on the boards but everywhere. CS85
The Kershaw Game is happening, and if the Cubs can survive to the LA bullpen only trailing by one, they can maybe pull something out of their asses. CS85
Jansen was unhittable. Kershaw was sort of hittable, but mostly not. That was always going to be a loss. Cubs are grateful to take this tie to LA and hope they don't deal with Kershaw ever again. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. FiddySicks
Cubs looked thoroughly underwhelming tonight. Kershaw looked great. Stop it, Cubs. The guy was lights out. Jansen came in and pitched perfectly. It was 9 innings of pitching hell. The Dodgers weren't going to go down without a fight and I'd rather them lose this one against this son of a bitch instead of to Rich Hill. If the Cubs lose to Rich Hill, you'll start to hear panic sirens and the walls of despair will close in quickly. Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. FiddySicks
Oh yeah, it's totally reasonable to lose to Kershaw. But STOP. Don't do that again! 2001mark
Jays better wear home whites today or the series is over. I know it's the players who choose it, or have the greatest say, yet c'mon. As for Bautista trending, he's done everything for this franchise since he became a starter, alas I do not wish to extend his stay with diminishing returns & him continually telling everyone what he thinks about conspiracies or whatever. @2001mark

The Dodgers came away with a 1-0 win and all it took was MLB's best pitcher to and one of the game's better closers to bring their A-games to Wrigley. Relaxxx. Unless Kershaw is going in Games 4, 6 and 7, the Cubs are still the clear favorites in this series. And oh by the way, Javy Baez.

Unocal
The Dodgers' not keeping Greinke.... they got by it all season. But if you're LA, don't you kinda wish you had him lined up for game 3 instead of Rich Hill? They got by all year without a Robin to Kershaw's Batman. Cleveland and Cincy truthfully hasn't been the same from a sports rivalry perspective in a long time.
