I'm wondering if this means they'll aim for 3 teams added for 2020 (I hope not)? The city itself is built in the middle of the Mojave desert and it’s economy is fueled by gambling and debauchery. None of this is sustainable long term. I have my “negative” moments here, no doubt. But as someone who grew up in that state and saw how poorly funded EVERYTHING is already (They have, like, no money), this is more of me being a “realist”. The speed in which the city is growing and population is ballooning seems not just like a poor idea, but downright insane. I have a VERY good feeling that when it’s all said and done, this isn’t going to end well. Not for sports fans or residents. GDAWG Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 The NHL started a domino affect when they announced the Vegas Golden Knights because soon after they came in, The Raiders announced that they were moving there. MLB commissioner Rob Manfred mentioned Las Vegas as a possible expansion team and now this tweet about how Las Vegas is aiming for MLS. Hard to square that with talk of growing the game, MLS being truly major-league, etc. Just cut a deal with ESPN+ leaguewide and call it a day. That aside; they announced that they will have a 3rd jersey for the June 15th home game which will be "black and gold night". I guess at some point they had to match the rest of the teams in Hamilton. There's about a dozen pics on the Forge site but I just posted the full uniform pic because, well, there's not much to see. All black with a little gold trim.
